The museum is located in a 1880 brick home and contains various vintage articles and seasonal displays. It is open May through October on Wed. afternoons.
The museum has a fine collection of furniture from the 19th and 20th centuries. Other collections include quilts, glass, china, kitchen ware, toys, clothing, photos and written records related to the life of the county for over 150 years. A separate wooden barn houses buggies, farm tools and horse-drawn implements. Each year a different theme is chosen featuring some of the items stored in the museum.
