The girl Jalonda did not ring up my order correctly because I was charged for all 6 cookies. She even confirmed that I wanted to do the buy 5 get 1 free. How hard is it to press the correct buttons?? Then of course they charge this random “commodity” 45 cent fee?? If you are going to charge a made up fee, at least make sure the rest of the order is entered correctly. Cookies tasted like they were a week old. Will never return
The staff was not nice. I got the buy 5 get one 1 free and got a decorative cookie with icing and the young lady put all the cookies/brownies on top of the decorative cookie and destroyed the icing decoration completely. Not only was she rude but she shoved everything in a little bag. I won’t be returning to this location
The customer service is amazing. The staff is quite friendly as well. They also seem very passionate about their work. I was quite satisfied with the very cute, yet professional, decorating done on the cookie cake by Jazmine! I could tell that it was handled with care and was not rushed. Great staff and great cookies!
Worst experience I have ever had with Great American Cookie Co. I picked up a cookie cake today for my daughter’s college graduation that looks like a 4 year old wrote on the cake- literally! I have purchased many cookie cakes over the years from a different location and never had a problem but the cake I picked up today from the Tanger Outlet location is a total embarrassment to the reputation and standards of this company. The writing looks like it is written by a young child and is not centered on the cake. The letters actually run into the edge of the cake. I called the store and asked for the name and phone number of the general manager and was told they cannot release that information.
Cookies are incredibly stale and are hard as rocks. Were they dug up from a graveyard? They must not be baking here often because it smells like a toilet when you walk in. So gross. Just go to another location that actually bakes more than once a century.
Came in to the store today. Cashier was very rude, rushed me through my selection, didn’t thank me for my visit, or hand me my receipt. She was also very rude to the gentleman that ordered before me. I guess she was having a BAD day or HATES her job! What also sucks is my cookie cake slice was not fresh!
Cookies are great , the person checking me out had a poor attitude as if I was bothering her and rude to boot . I won't be going back - I can get cookies anywhere .
I never thought I'd be giving a negative review on Great American Cookies, but here we go... I went in looking for Frozen Yogurt as there's a very distinct 32° Yogurt Bar sign hanging from the window only to walk in and find that they no longer serve froyo. Ok, no big deal, it smelled amazing and I was greeted nicely as soon as I walked in. The service was immediate, as there were 2 employees and only 1 other person in store. I was torn between a decorated "pizza" slice & a frosted colossal. I asked if the colossal was a decorated chocolate chip cookie, same as the pizza slice, and was told yes so I ordered it along with 1 bottle of water. While the cashier was ringing me up I noticed the bottled water was Deer Park & it was very clearly priced at $1.69 a bottle. I was paying with a card was told my total was $7.51. I thought that was pretty high for a cookie & bottle of water I could've gotten a combo meal somewhere for that price, but without skipping a beat handed my card to the cashier. At that point the iPad was turned to me and I was told to manually input my card information. Ummm, ok??? It was then that I noticed 3 items rung up on the screen my cookie, a "commodity fee"& my drink. I asked what the commodity fee was and was told "it's the taxes". Ok, no problem. Everyone pays taxes. Once I was done ringing myself out like I'm at Walmart self checkout, I selected the print receipt option because I wanted to clearly see what exactly I just paid for. I heard the receipt print and then I saw it get crumbled into the garbage, so I asked for another one. It was given to me & I left. As I was walking to my car I saw the "Commodity Fee" was for .45¢, I paid .68¢ tax on everything and I was charged $2.39 for "Bottled Soda" when I ordered & received a bottle of water. To make it all worse, when I bit into the cookie it was a decorated sugar cookie and not a decorated chocolate chip cookie as I specifically asked. So basically I was lied to, overcharged, cashed myself out & didn't even get what I wanted. Will the extra $1.15 I paid break me? No. Could it potentially break this business if everyone else who gets ripped off here stops frequenting the establishment, such as I will There are 3 other Great American Cookies/in 20 miles who have never over charged me? Yes! I'm giving 2 stars because I was greeted well, promptly assisted and the cookie was fresh and delicious.
Ordered a cookie cake for a birthday 2 days prior to pickup.... they did not have my order or any record of it when i arrived to pick it up. HOWEVER thanks to Caishia assuming the manager made one on the spot! Thank you for making what could have been a disaster into a pleasant experience.
HORRIBLE SERVICE, very rude. No greeting as we walked in...then a guy is decorating a cake, never said a word to us, after asking if he could help us- he hollers in the back & some chick walks up on her cell & she was not happy she had to wait on us. After ordering a small icee & buying 5 cookies get 1 free I wanted my receipt cause my total was $16.80!!!!! She couldn’t print out a receipt, basically she said she couldn’t do anything...how you can’t give me a receipt but the lady right after me got a receipt!
