My friend got her hair done here and then went to see me. When I saw her I pointed out how her hair was crooked when brushed back so we went back here to see if they could fix it. Both stylists argued with us and said that the haircut will be straight when her hair is straightened. They used a hairbrush to pull the shorter side down and said it was straight. They said that half of her head had curly hair so it gave the allusion of one side being shorter, but that it would be straight when she straightened her hair. It looked choppy either way, and a haircut shouldn’t need to be heat styled/pulled down with a brush for the ends to be straight. Also wanted to add that they made her stand while she got her hair done.
Tried to take my elderly mom to Great Clips near her assisted living facility. Unfortunately it's not like the old days going and wait your turn we had to try and figure out the app and get an appointment which is really not very convenient. At any rate the hairstylist at the assisted living facility is officially back in town and taking care of the hair at the facility. I was starting to feel stressed that I can get her in when she wanted to get in for a haircut so I'm so glad that problem is solved.
Today i went for hair cut , they lady doesn't know the hair cut , she completely shaved my hair with trimmer , i requested her to make use of scissors . even though she is trimmed my hair , Post hair cut my hair style look's very bad.... it seems like hair grown after the complete head shave ..PLEASE DONT PREFER THIS LOCAION FOR THE HAIR CUT .Service: Haircut
I typically go to a barber but am new to the area and I wasn't too happy about the last place I went to so I thought I would give this Great Clips a try. I was a walk-in and had to wait a little while but I got a really good haircut. I've been to other Great Clips before and was not so happy with the results. I'm definitely considering going back here for my next haircut.
When you find a good stylist at Great Clips, you just have to go back and request/wait for that person. I guess I'm a typical guy in that a haircut is more of a necessity. I was always this way. When I was younger, I had my hair cut/styled at the fancier places. Now it's just a necessity. As such, why spend $400 a year or more for a haircut? I put my name on the wait-list, show up about when my time is called and walk out 12-15 minutes later with a decent cut. And I won't have broke the bank.
Unlike the Lake Oswego shop, Tualatin barbers actually cut my hair the way I want it cut ... Every time
Updated: Asked for a medium/high skin fade and ended up walking out with an extreme/Mohawk half way faded hair cut. The stylist even repeated back to me what I asked for and decided to just do what she wanted. Will not be going here again at all. If getting your hair cut here, definitely beware Per request of the owner and email was sent last night to guest services along with photos of the haircut I received. Pending response from sent email, will update review once guest services replies.
I went in a week ago and this was probably one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had in my life my hair is totally on the Ethan one part of my beans is longer than the other by far I said takeoff in half an inch and most of all my hair is goneService: Haircut
Took my 5 year old daughter here for her first haircut! The lady had both patience and a warm heart making my daughter feel comfortable enough to sit there and not freak out! She was previously a bit nervous. Lady knew exactly what she was doing and my daughter walked out looking more ready for kindergarten then ever! Highly recommended! Clean! Make an appointment on their website!
Please take reviews serious! I’ve tried two locations. Both times extremely disappointing! Just went to the Lakes Oswego salon. I went into the salon prepared after my first bad Great Clips experience. These people are not up to date with hair cutting. Chop, chop is the type of horrible hair cut I received again! I loved my hair just wanted “A TRIM”. I was clear in my explanation… I asked for one inch trim. I now have the absolute worst hair cut I’ve ever had…. I’m 71 She cut my hair soooo, short, with no layering flow. Plus the sides were uneven. I had to even out the right side myself when I came home. It is ridiculous!!! Might be Great Clips for men. Ladies stay away! Forget your generic apology respond! That is not the solutions. Unless you plan to reimburse my wasted money. I have NO choice, I have to live with this ugly hair do now. Send someone in to your salons that has the knowledge to update your staff. Learn to listen to the customer! One inch is not 4-5 inches chopped off! It seems to be a common problem with your salons.
