What an amazing experience! Great Lakes Burning River was one of the first micro beers I ever had and it changed me from not being a beer fan to a huge brew fan so I was excited to finally visit the place that got me into beer!! The only thing I have to admit is, the pretzel was the weakest I’ve ever had. The dipping sauces were good but the pretzel itself was dry, dense and just didn’t cut it. A frozen boxed soft pretzel from the grocery store was on par with what we had. Quite disappointing but, the good news is that everything else was FANTASTIC!! Service was great as was the setting! We sat on the patio, it had a great feel to it. Our beers were too notch as were our meals! I’ll be back for sure, hopefully they fix the pretzel before then.
Great restaurant with fine choice of beers. One of the top micro brewing and beers in Ohio, Cleveland. Food is delicious and service is outstanding. Highly recommended if you are in Ohio, Cleveland. Cheers Food: 4/5
We went for Sunday brunch. Amazing food and beer. Our server was very nice. I ordered House Lox Bagel, which was not just salmon and cream cheese. They put parsley, garlic avocado, caper and salsa in the bagel sandwich, with French fries. It was so good. For the beer, I ordered Easy buckets blonde, which was very smooth and refreshing. I want to visit Cleveland again to dine in this brewery.
This was the first time visiting Great Lakes. Honestly, I think everyone in the world probably knows what Great Lakes brewing is. I certainly enjoyed their selection of beers. My only issue was that their food portions were incredibly small for their price point. Cmon Great Lakes… every other place gives more food than you guys do… what’s going on here.. the egg rolls were great, but golly I was left super hungry!!! The soda bread was really good, but again super small!!! Otherwise it’s a flagship place to visit for sure.
The OG. This place has been around for a long time. Mixing up a nice combination of craft beer. The service was excellent. A nice combination of stouts, porters, and seasonal specialty years. This is a very unique venue just because of the building it is located in. Check out the basement bar. Very unique. The bar and restaurant are clean and well kept. There is street parking or paid parking lots nearby.
We had a wonderful experience here at Great Lakes Brewing Company. Carlos was very informative and friendly. My dad definitely learned a lot about how beer is made during our tour. We had lots of laughs and lots of delicious tastings of the craft beers. Thank you again for an experience we all will remember.
The home of the fabulous Great Lakes Brewing Company, a long standing craft powerhouse. Lovely inside, nice outside seating, and a cool lower level. Food looked good but I wasn’t hungryFood: 5/5
Hard to not have a good time at tje Great Lakes brewery. I highly recommend the cheese and meat board. Beware the "full flight" when there are 17 beers on tap hahaha.Food: 4/5
Spent the majority of my 20’s at GLBC 20 years ago.. so good to come back! Delicious! The views have certainly changed with all the development around! Thank you Nancy for a lovely lunchtime. See you again soon! Vegetarian options: They have several vegan options and vegetarian! Look forward to trying them! Dietary restrictions: Several GF V and VG options
Awesome food. Pretzel Chicken and great Beer selections! Stop in the gift shop while you are there.
