Unprofessional attitudes. Unprofessional care. Literally did nothing with vague responses and said if it doesn't get better or worse to call, and I'll send a script. Did exactly that, now have to go back for another visit. Another co-pay. And 2 hours of waiting with my even sicker now toddler. All so they can get more money from insurance and not do the right thing. This is my 3rd bad experience here, so this review is overdue.
Went here for stomach flu once. refused to see me after taking heart rate etc due to "family history of heart problems" and having a fast heart rate a known effect of throwing up with dehydration. Was told they wouldnt bill me. still sent a bill. absolute rip off and joke of a clinic
Every visit is about covid, covid, covid. They do not treat your symptoms ever. And you have to wait a week or longer to see your primary doctor... wife also had a very bad experience we told the walk in "I'll be nice" we told them she had pneumonia and they said she didn't, 2 days later was in ER and had to stay 4 days because she had pneumonia. Place is a joke go elsewhere.
My daughter & I went to the clinic bc we had both been sick for abt a week and I just couldn’t deal with it anymore & Not having a PCP in the area. The front desk staff were very nice to us - one even came with a finger ox-meter thingy to check to make sure my level wasn’t too low I am asthmatic but she didn’t know that yet. Filled out the paperwork and was taken back to a room quickly. We were both tested for COVID and the flu. My daughter for strep. All came back negative. The RN was efficient but lacked a pleasant bedside manner, esp in dealing w/ my daughter, but the MD was great! She basically was suffering from severe allergies. And I had a sinus infection/asthma flare-up. Ty Dr. Devin for ur patience & upbeat attitude! We had a good experience with Great River Health! Very rude and unprofessional. I went in on a Sunday they tested me for the flu and strep. Both came back negative. They told me to come back in if my symptoms got worse. I went back in on Wednesday they checked me in, billed me, then took me back just to have a rude nurse tell me they don't do follow ups and I couldn't be seen. She also told me to go elsewhere which is the only positive about my experience here.
I tried to get a primary care physician here but it was obvious that this facility does not care about it's clients. I needed some healthcare documents looked at and signed nothing more than simply taking 5 minutes to talk about and look at to complete some visa paperwork to move to Taiwan. I was supposed to have Beverly Christy be my primary care physician but when I tried to talk with her she refused to see me. I even offered to patiently wait for her to be done with patients because I thought she was currently busy. The nurse came back and said that Beverly wouldn't talk to me or look at my papers until our appointment appointment was made for a different reason in 2 weeks. Anyways, I had to have this document completed within a week to make my deadline otherwise I could have my job offer taken away i.e. ruin my plans to move to Taiwan so I went to Quincy Medical Group by the hospital. They were able to get me a primary care physician the same day of me showing up and fill out all my paperwork. I am actively telling all my friends and family how awful this place Great River Health is and I've heard from plenty of other family members how nobody cares about the client here.
If I could give them a 0 star review I would. We are beyond frustrated with their services. They refused treatment of my 2 year old son because he is on Tamiflu evn though he has developed new symptoms with croupie cough and wheezing. They said because he was seen at Blessing this was a "follow up" and they don't do follow ups. The girl that checked us in couldn't have been any less friendly and the process took too long from what I've ever seen for a new patient set up. And the nurse was not very professional since she had all of my son's medical information out in the lobby for everyone to hear instead of taking us somewhere a little more private. I will NEVER return here and I wouldn't recommend it.
No place is perfect but here you will find some good people. Just depends on the day and time. Make sure you have a loved one with you for every vist nothing wrong with some support and a extra pair of ears and eyes but most of all a voice of reason.
Very rude and unprofessional! Not helpful at all or willing to treat you. Better off going somewhere else where the doctors will actually care about you and the problems you are having. This was my second visit here both times were a bad experience and I will not be going back. Also stereotyping me looking at my tattoos and then saying “we don’t prescribe narcotics here” which I never mentioned by the way or wasn’t looking for.....do better and do your job professionally.
If I had an option with zero stars that's exactly what I would pick...will not waste my time ever again going here the fact they wrongfully diagnosis my son even gave him a diagnosis without looking at the problem I will travel else where from now on to get better care and attention my children need!! Not impressed at all!!!
