Not worth the price. Rooms are a bit outdated. The bed was comfy but that was basically it. Our tub was constantly dripping and sometimes we didn’t have hot water. I don’t understand how a resort can run out of hot water. Specially for the price of the rooms this is unacceptable. The water park is a bit disappointing too. The water is warm but the park is very cold. They have the AC full blast so when you get out of the water it’s freezing! The buffet is terrible. Definitely eat somewhere else outside of the resort. It’s expensive and doesn’t have much variety and is very plain. Service was also bad. The cleaning lady was very rude when we asked to get our sofa bed made. Isn’t that your job lady? I don’t think we will come back.
We had a great trip and Great Wolf is nice but perhaps a bit outdated and could work on customer service in some departments. We used the valet service which was nice but at the cost per day I shouldn't have to search for the valet staff. Once we had one they were very nice. We had one of the bear suites and it was awesome from a space and amenities perspective. Some of the fixtures and carpet were worn out. This is a great place for kids as there are tons of activities to keep them entertained. Also the food pricing is very reasonable. I wish those breakfast tacos were made available every morning. The Oliver's Mining store on the first floor is super fun. I do recommend Great Wolf Lodge, just a few suggestions of things they can address. Rooms: The suites are spacious. We had the bear suite and it had a king in one room, two queens in a second room, a living area, kitchen area and two bathrooms. Our room was missing a couple faucet handles and the carpet was bubbled up in many spaces. We also requested the towels be replenished and we had to find a staff member in the hall to get the towels. They did not seem aware of our request. Also the room had three TVs, a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Nearby activities: There are tons of cool activities in Great Wolf Lodge for all ages. If you are looking for something not too far away check out Meow Wolf. Food & drinks: The food was good and very reasonably priced. I wish they had room service but maybe we just couldn't figure the app out.
Room was clean but had uncomfortable beds and furniture. In spite of turning thermostat all the way down, the room never got cool. The layout of the hotel portion makes for a very long walk to anything, including the elevator, if your room number if above the 20's or 30's on each floor. Water Park is not bad if not over crowded but there are much nicer ones in the area . All the staff was friendly and helpful. Kids will enjoy the stay and it's doable for adults. Best to catch it in the off season for sure. Rooms: Only a small handful have patios or balconies.
We had the best experience with my 3 year old nephew. Loved the option of being able to enjoy the outside water activities as well. Although expensive, the choice of food and drinks was awesome. We absolutely loved the breakfast buffet. The omelets were great! Can't believe how fun the bigger slides were! The tornado had me screaming! The room ac works great, and the beds and pillows were very comfy, which made it a great place to sleep. Can't wait to go back for more fun. Now the cons. The hotel interior could definitely use an upgrade. The duct tape on the uneven floor on floor 8's hallway is a trip hazard, and my nephew fell over it a couple of times. The hot tub that's inside needs a little help, as not very many of the jets work. Rooms: Good size, great ac. Nearby activities: Tons of things to do nearby! Safety: We felt very safe the entire time. Walkability: Easily accessible sidewalks. Food & drinks: Plenty of food and drink options. Noteworthy details: Fun place for all ages.
I was really excited about staying here. We got a great deal on the nights we stayed. The experience for our little one was great. Obviously there is room for improvement. When we first checked in they told us our room was still not clean and ready. Check in is at 4 pm and we showed up at 530. Thankfully one of the check in ladies found us another room. We really enjoyed the arcade areas as well as our time in the water park. Worst part about this place is the food. It is a buffet, which is absolutely fine if it was good, It’s is 20$ per adult. The food was cold, and not fresh. Also, why do they advertise the little wolf paw waffle when they didn’t even have them? Idk if we missed our window with housekeeping but we didn’t get our room picked up. For the price we got the stay was good and it is a great place for kids. Rooms: Rooms are spacious but somewhat outdated. I did apprentice the microwave in the room. Food & drinks: Do not eat here, food was expensive and terrible. For the price and for being a resort it should be better quality.
Would've given it 5 stars but customer service sucks. And it's over priced... They advertise a sale, you wait for hours for the website to crash so you leave your email and wait for news, nothing... so you think maybe I should try again the next day and finally get in only for there to be zero rooms for the low low price of $84... so you get the next best thing double the $84 and hope that customer service will help you. You email them twice, with not even an explanation or return email other than the automated "thanks for your inquiry" so you ask to speak with customer service when you get there to check in and they can't even come out of their office... They tell the super sweet employeethank goodness for her! Her ears were decorated and she was the best! "she needs to read the fine print" just annoying... wondering how many people actually get the $84 rooms.. yes my family had fun even though on top of the customer service fiasco 4 people in my family almost got seriously hurt on the slides due to staff negligence... my husband and daughter got their heads and got scrapes, my 3 year old should've never been allowed to have a yellow wrist band... and will never go on a water life again... but that's a whole other story yes we have memories... but we also spent more than we should have... they could definitely still make a ton of money if they charged a little less...
This place was good! We decided to go here for a break from school back in April 2023, also for my brother birthday. Walking in, the place is amazing and your kids will love it. If you don't want to pay a lot though, you're gonna have to. After checking in, we went to the pool area. The pool area sometimes has a smell. There might also be some dirty areas, but it's usually not that bad. Make sure you monitor your children in this area because some kids might be rude here which happened to me on my experience. After that, the rooms are good. They are perfectly prepared for you and there are two kinds of rooms. The big one, and the massive one for bigger families. This place is infested with children, so if parents don't like the idea of that, they should probably not go. Also the arcade is OVERPRICED! They make people pay lots of money for short or not working games, only to win tickets for 50 cent prizes. Overall, this place has its pros and cons, but is still a recommended place for family. Rooms: There is a big room with two big beds with a bathroom and a great view. There is a massive room for bigger familes where there is a room in there that is shaped like a house and has bunkbeds and a TV inside. With even bigger beds with a tv in front of it. You can also look outside to see the outside pool which is closed in the morning. Safety: There is a game that makes kids run off from their parents, make sure your child is safe and they stay close. There will also be many distractions for your kids. Food & drinks: You go to a buffet to serve yourself and it's delicious.
Overall experience at great wolf lodge with the family was great. The kiddos loved it an that’s all that matter. My kiddos rated it a 8 out of 10 an requested that they would love to go back again. I was very hesitant on going after setting up a reservation mainly because I had read a lot of the negative reviews an let me tell you it’s best to experience it for yourself and I’m glad we went. You can’t go into a family resort that I feel is basically for the kids expecting to have some adult fun or adult activities and again my husband & myself went so our kids could have fun time. The experience we had with the room we had overall was pretty clean, which I always do my own little Lysol wiping down an cleaning the whole nine yards. We opted out of trying any of the food at the location and chose to go get outside food because of the fear of paying high prices and getting mediocre food…sticking to what we know. The staff that was on shift during our stay everyone seemed very friendly/helpful. My husband didn’t feel like the gift shop had a lot of products for men souvenirs. I did feel like the rope course is a little unnecessary I didn’t see hardly any people out I don’t know if it’s due to the fact that it was too hot or what but I do feel like they can benefit more if they did away with the ropes an put like a large jump area for the kids. I can’t really complain about our stay but I can say again that my family enjoyed it. When in doubt just try it out yourself.
Very good place to have a child’s birthday. Complimentary wolf ears were a nice touch. Beds were comfy but the room was a bit out dated. The shower fixtures were loose but the water pressure was good. The paw soap was also a great detail. The pull out sofa bed was also surprisingly comfortable. A family of 5 can stay here comfortably for a night. We ordered a pizza for room service and it said it would be at the room at 7:30. At about 7:44 I got a text and said it was on its way. We waited until about 8 o’clock and it still never showed up. We went to the restaurant and it turns out they never put our order in so we ended up getting the pizza for free. The pizza was mediocre but the overall restaurant options are good. They have a good variety for room service or dine in. Easy check in
Great Wolf Lodge is my 7 yo and ours favorite current place to go any time of the year. Our last stay was 9/22 for my birthday. The water park is awesome. Kids enjoy those attractions too much. Food is great, variety and clean. Front desk and room service are good, with the exception that this is the second time and coincidentally on my bday that our room is not ready with the balloons, tickets and birthday banner that we already paid for , wich is a bit sad because we love to make memories with all of those stuff and getting them later after we arrived, make it a bit disappointing. But Overall is a good destination especially if you have kids. We can't wait to return!
