The Hanover Fire Museum has evolved over the decades to encompass local and regional Fire Department History for everyone to enjoy. Currently located in the old Hanover Shoe Building Boiler room, off Franklin Street in Hanover, Pa. Come explore a unique collection of Fire Department History as well as some pieces of local Hanover history. Run entirely by Volunteers, most of whom were or still are firefighters for local departments, the organizations is currently working on restoring the Old Eagle Chemical Company Fire Station off York Street in Hanover. This historic station, built in 1914, will be a perfect venue for showcasing Fire Department History, in a Historic Fire Department Building. Community support is greatly appreciated as these hard working volunteers use their own time and money to share one communities unique history!
