The Garden Project helps Lansing area home & community gardeners grow & preserve their own fresh veggies. Part of the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
We provide access to land, how-to education, free seeds and plants, tool lending, a networking hub and more so that all community members can have access to fresh healthy food through gardening opportunities. We support a network of over 90 community gardens and over 400 home gardens.

The Garden Project is dedicated to local efforts to develop a healthier food system in the Greater Lansing Area. We define a healthy food system as one that provides all community members, including children and the elderly, with easily accessible and affordable, nutritious food, produced locally using environmentally sound practices.
The Project's role in promoting a healthy food system is through three major program components: gardening, gleaning and community development.
