Quaint, village-y type restaurant that made me feel like I was in Greece. Ordered 3 hot appetizers, greek meatballs, lima beans and spaniopita, along with 1 cold app that had 4 spreads with hot yummy thick pita bread, suggested by our server which turned out really GOOD! Everything was very tastey! I've had better dessert at the greek festivals though..but overall a good experience. Stephanie our server was excellent. Had live music as we started to leave. Very good guitarist!
I gotta say: I haven't tried the rest of the menu except the lunch special, which has a good price, and the gyro comes with salad is super delicious. The outdoor space looks a bit dirty, otherwise I would give them 5 stars for good food, friendly service, and deep wine selection
This is a hard review to write. For starters, I really enjoyed this place. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant. The server was knowledgeable. The food was delicious. Then came the check. I was very disappointed to see that they add on a "service charge" of what appears to be 20% my service share was $3.20 on $17 order. This practice is NOT listed on their menu. I don't have an issue, per se, with service charges but they should very well be stated in the menu. Also, I was offered tzatziki "to go with my gyro meat" that I ordered on my salad. I said yes after reviewing the menu to see if there was an additional charge for that and found no mention of it. They charged me $1 for that side of tzatziki! My friend's $9 meal in the menu a salad was billed to her for $13. The practices around pricing, menu disclosure or non-disclosure, as the case is here, and issues with the bill left a very bad taste in my mouth for a place that, before the bill came and these practices were brought to light, I would have very happily returned to and recommended to friends! Management, if you're reading this, please update your menu to reflect current practice. It feels shady otherwise! Sad to have to leave a review like this! Food was delicious. Especially enjoyed the tyrokafteri out of the sampler dipping tray! So, so good! If money or honesty isn't a concern, you might well enjoy this place!
Amazing Greek food! The chicken on the salad I had was the best!! Plus the vibes where very Greek My dad's gyro was more plain but also delicious
Gets 5 stars for the food and service. Everything was very tasty and freshly made. Their Baba Ghanoush was really good. Outdoor patio was nicely setup as well. The interior could probably do with a renovation, but ultimately since the food was great thats all that really matters.
Pretty basic greek restaurant. Nothing over the top. Missing some nice flavors we're used to in greek food. The music was nice. No one greeted us at the front door, waited 5 mins then wondered in the back and found someone. Seemed pretty clean, was kinda to dark to tell. Thanks!
Take the time to stop by and eat here. There is a patio and bar in the "backyard." We started with the grilled Octopus which was served with oregano, capers, olive oil and minced red peppers. The smaller pieces were chargrilled and very good. We soaked up the extra olive oil with the warm pita bread. Dinner was perfectly grilled whole branzino. They fillet the fish and served head on including meat in the "cherks" with lemon wedge, olive oil, red pepper, capers. Light and delicious. Accompanied by fresh broccoli and pilaf. Our neighbors had the flaming saganaki. Opa!
We had dinner 2 nights on the outdoor patio. The food was amazing - authentic Greek cuisine - and atmosphere was lovely with guitarist each night. A new Palms Spring favorite!!
If you love greek food and you're in the Palm Springs area this is your restaurant the staff and food is fantastic and has a nice greek charm to it.
This has got to be the best Greek restuarant outside of Greece. Simply delicious food. Mousaka was sublime. Delightful setting. A must visit when in Palm Springs.
