I’m torn here because my daughter gave birth via cesarean section in which her doctor and all of the nurses Everybody on the second floor were so sweet to her. They treated her like she was the priority and really took great care of her, the food is good and I love how you have gluten free options on the menu so just by all of that I would give 100 stars . But the women working the front desk on August 10,2023 about 6:00 pm they are the rudest people I have ever came across in a long time and I even work customer service In all the times that I have been in this hospital I never knew that I was to stop at their rude desk and get a visitor name tag, my family was just about to get in the elevator when the one yelled you need a visitor pass we was stunned that first she yelled at us then continued to be rude I even said to her you could have 3000 people walk by and never say anything to them but your going to yell at us, like I said I have been In there numerous times and I have never had to get a visitor pass. I get it you want to keep a log of the people that come in there I totally understand that but to be yelled at and then for them to continue to be rude. My mind is blown at the behavior that those two portrayed for your hospital if my employees would’ve acted that way they would no longer have a job because that’s their job is to great people and you point them in the right direction I wouldn’t want those kind of people representing my business. It’s really sad. .
My wife and I "got" to drive to newish 3-years old Greeley Hospital yesterday, a Level II Trauma Center about 40 minutes from our home. She had an appointment with their pulmonologist. After a delay of around 45 minutes, "Linda" got my wife in and proceeded with the appointment. Turns out there had been an emergency that Linda had to take first. That's ok ~ stuff happens. While she waited on the second floor I walked around, finding a well located little hole-in-the-wall type of coffee shop. I had a cup of decent coffee, leaving money, then walked around to find the cafeteria. It was easy to find in the bright, well-lit hallways. After a delicious BLT although a little skimpy with the lettuce, I headed back upstairs to find my wife. She survived her episode with Linda, although she said it wasn't particularly pleasant. In the meanwhile, I had gotten a lot of steps in, talking with the unfailingly nice people manning the different operations. I don't have anything negative to say about the hospital, *except* that it is 30 miles from my house.
My family and I won’t be retuning here! They have not once billed our insurance correctly, every time I call and speak with them they have no idea what they are doing. My insurance will tell me exactly what to tell them and they still can’t figure it out . I now have had to pay a huge amounts several times for something that I have never had to pay for, stuff as simple as immunizations for my kids which I have never paid for my insurance has always paid for them, blood work again, something that has always been paid for. Its very frustrating! Won’t be recommending them to anyone either. Really thought this would be a nice place to get our medical care….
Spent two weeks on the third floor after internal bleeding - most of the nurses and all the docs were great. Food was very good. Thank you all! Nichole - much love! My mom goes twice a month for transfusions and they treat her great as well
I do not recommend anybody to take there loved ones here! My boyfriend was brought here due to a seizure that he was not able to wake himself out mind you we are very aware of what to do when he seizes because this has been happening for the last 2 years. This is the first hospital that he has been to that completely neglected him and did not treat him like a patient at all. He always wakes up super agitated from his seizures as he also suffers from a previous TBI so for him to wake up confused and completely forgetful of why he is in a hospital is not uncommon. The nurses in the emergency room and the ICU were completely understanding and patient with him while I reminded every nurse that worked with him of his history and agitation that comes with every visit. He was admitted to the hospital and stayed for 2 days while he started to wake out of his episode and regain memory of the situation, He was then transferred from the ICU to the 4th floor and from then the experience was horrible. Those nurses had no patience with him even after I explained to them that he gets super agitated but that was not his personality at all . In my opinion the nurse that was assigned to him just did not want to deal with him and she was just over his attitude because he had been saying that he wanted to leave the hospital but mind you he had been saying that the 2 days that he had been there and the ICU nurses did great at just not responding to him because they were aware of his TBI and the confused state he was in. The 4th floor nurse was just having a ruff day and I think she just was over my boyfriend and his attitude so she let him sign himself out when he was not in the right state of mind to do so. I then proceeded to try to beg and cry to the charge nurse that they could not let him leave like that and she just brushed me off and said it was his decision and they signed off that he was okay to leave. since that situation he has been admitted to a NEW hospital with great nurses that actually do there jobs and he is back to his normal self and guess what he has no memory of signing himself out of the hospital !! So I hope that nurse looses her job for being uncaring and a awful person and she should not be working in health care he was not in the right state of mind in that situation and damn you and the hospital for thinking that was okay. He left with multiple injuries and he pulled out his own IV'S but they did not take in consideration at all that he was harming himself his safety was not important to this hospital at all. Please do not bring you loved ones here because if they even have a slight attitude they will be neglected and there health will not be taken care of it might just put them at a higher risk.
I have a relative in the hospital. Took a break to eat something at the cafeteria. The onion rings were cold, rubbery, and disgusting. I had a few as one would when they're starving, but I would not recommend them. Edit: Thank you for the reply. I do hope things improve. Edit 2: The last picture of the onion rings was taken on 8/22/23. My sibling decided to try them. This time they were at least hot, but the taste and texture is still the same.
Had to bring my wife in because she has really horrible pain on her side and we figured they prioritize bigger emergencies first! But no here they take you in as you come in so you pretty much grab a number join the line and wait til your number is called!! I thought this was a hospital not the dmv!! I'd recommend going to Loveland medical hospital of the rockies. Don't waste your time coming here!!
I'm in recovery and always assume I'm going to be treated like a drug seeker, but I wasn't treated like that here. The nurse tended to my needs, the dr made sure I felt safe and comfortable. I was treated like an actual human. Excellent experience.
My husband tried to warn them he was allergic to dyes. They gave him the MRI contrast anyway and he had an anaphylactic reaction. They didn't listen to us and we got no answers for the issue we originally came in with. It was an absolute nightmare. We will never be back and if we had money to sue them, we would!! Edited to add: I did contact administration as the reply instructs. They were of no help. They said they did everything right.
We had a family member stay here; the nurses and staff were AMAZING. They were truly the kindest people and made our difficult experience easier. Thank you UC Greeley 4th floor!
