We are not your stereotypical "bent n' dent" discount grocery store! Our most popular feature is a 20 foot deli counter that offers fresh, slice-as-you-wait, meats and cheeses. Don't come on a Saturday and expect to walk right up and give your order--it is usually 5 or 6 people deep with 4 deli slicers going non-stop. It is well worth the couple minute wait, since your deli items are sliced fresh, and NOT sitting in the deli case drying out all day. Not only is it fresh, the prices will save your budget.
We offer local, in season, produce to complement our usual produce selection. The bulk foods department offers a consistent supply of the usual staples of sugar, flour, pasta, and gummi worms--just in case we don't have it in the ever-changing inventory of money saving, discounted groceries.
Just like any other grocery store, we have a wide variety of groceries (even a frozen and refrigerated section), but we may not have the exact brand or unique flavor you were looking for. This is where the adventure shopping comes in--but you must be flexible!
Discount grocery stores have come a long way in quality of products and cleanliness of the stores. We have a store that is brightly lit, has spacious aisles, and friendly staff. The majority of our products are closeouts and name brand products. Some items may have damaged packaging that does not affect the quality of the product. A few items will be close dated, but quality is not affected (deli items are ALWAYS FRESH). We do not sell recalled or "suspect quality" products! Think about it. Why would we sell food that could possibly make you ill? We need you (our customers) to come back! We are a family owned store, and you will normally see one of the owners working in the store. We take our business personally, and treat our customers as part of the family.
