Co-Directors: Clinical Herbalists Elaine Sheff and John Goicovich.
Elaine Sheff has been studying medicinal plants since 1987. A Clinical Herbalist, she is a graduate of both the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies and the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine. Elaine is a certified instructor of Fertility Awareness and Natural Family Planning, a safe, effective birth control method used to avoid or achieve pregnancy. She has a clinical practice providing herbal consultations for individuals with health concerns. Elaine teaches herb classes throughout the western United States and is the founder and co-owner of Meadowsweet Herbs. She is the co-director of Green Path Herb School and lives in Missoula, Montana with her amazing husband and two delightful sons.
John Goicovich first started studying plants in the early 90s on the coast of California. It was not until moving to the Rocky Mountains in 1993 that his interest became a lifetime commitment. John’s first love of herbs was always the connection between plants and people and the personal involvement in making one’s own remedies. For the last twenty years John has worked on deepening that connection, and his favorite thing to do besides making herbal remedies is sharing with others how to make their own medicine. John has owned and operated Meadowsweet Herbs in Missoula for the last 17 years with his wife and herbalist, Elaine. Along with their two boys and dog they call Montana home.
