Booked with these guys days in advance. Waited 30 mins past my pickup time before booking a $150 Uber, only to be told by their customer support that they could give me a travel credit, not a refund. If your shuttles are going to be that 40+ mins late you owe it to your customers to tell them.
I have used Groome 3 times within the last year with not only no issues but outstanding service. Pickup and drop off times are always accurate and on time and everyone I've interacted with from drivers to the folks on the phone have been very friendly and extremely helpful. There have been times where I've missed my shuttle or added a bag late or had to book online and every time, I am helped within 10 seconds of the phone ringing. Groome is also very affordable which is amazing for a college student who is tight on money. After being helped on the phone today to schedule a pickup at my home which I didn't realize you could do, I had to write a review because these folks have certainly deserved a review.
Southwest airlines flight arrived late. Was exactly one minute late to the airport pickup. Called customer service as was told in more of less words, sucks to suck. Watched the groome bus drive away as I was waving my arms. Busses are feel as if they are going to fall apart as they drive you to the airport. Avoid this company at all costs. Spend the extra 20$ and get an Uber or a Lyft. Wish 0 stars was an option
After our flight was delayed and we had to shift our previously scheduled shuttle reservation to a later time as a result and we booked the new shuttle that was recommended based on our revised arrival time, which was accurate, we sprinted through the airport to reach the the pick-up point at exactly the scheduled departure time. I can confirm this based on my phone’s outgoing calls log, which shows that I called Groome exactly at the departure time to confirm that we had actually missed the shuttle and that it wasn’t just running behind. I was basically told, “too bad,” bc the bus runs on a “strict schedule”. Fair enough, but what a shame that they’ve couldn’t even give us a 1 or 2-minute grace period, especially when we had updated our departure just a few hours before, so they would have been well aware that they had passengers who were actively en route. Cut to today, we are on our way back to the airport and the scheduled departure time was 6:35pm. We didn’t leave until 6:54pm and the driver said it was because we had to wait on other passengers. It should be unacceptable to justify leaving some passengers behind by citing a “strict schedule,” but on the other end, will delay another shuttle and its on-time passengers by nearly 20 minutes because of delays on your the shuttle provider’s end. Customer service was disappointing and unhelpful when we reached out. We’ve used Groome several times without issue, and the drivers are always lovely, but man, was this a disappointing experience.
I will never book a shuttle from this company again. Terrible customer service and does not adhere to departure times. I prepaid for a round trip to and from DIA/Cheyenne. On the return flight home, my flight was delayed and I called customer service to let them know I was running across the airport but would still make the bus right at departure time. They let me know they would notify the driver. I arrived to the curbside 1 minute before “scheduled departure” and the bus is gone. I know this because I was still on the phone with the agent at Groome when I got to the pick up point. After confirming I was in the right spot, the bus is indeed gone. There are several others standing with me who were scheduled on the same bus who were also left. There are no more buses for the evening, and they told me they do not issue refunds. Now I am stranded an hour and a half from home and looking for $250+ Ubers in addition to the $150 I already spent with Groome. I guess they can have fun dealing with American Express regarding a refund.
I was hesitant to use this service because of the mixed reviews. I used it this past week to and from Fort Collins to DIA. It was excellent service both ways: great texting to keep me informed of pick up times and locations; it was easy to find at the airport, comfortable seats with AC, and inexpensive when you factor in gas, mileage, and tolls. A lot of loyal customers on the bus said they love it also. Don’t hesitate to use this service. I highly recommend!
Stopped off in Ft. Collins for the day before driving down to DIA. Unfortunately, I got stranded in Ft. Collins and had to find transportation to the airport at the last minute. Uber was going to be $127 one way, so I decided to call Groome; hoping they had availability. I talked to Kit, who was very friendly and helpful in working with me to get to the airport. After checking dispatch, she found room on the 9:05pm shuttle from the Hilton. The driver was on time and provided great customer service. Overall, the experience was top-notch, and I highly recommend Groome Transportation. If the service wasn't enough, the $58 trip cost was icing on the cake. Good job all around!!!
Best service across the United States - realizable, consistent customer service. Been using Groome since 2022 - will be using them moving forward for all long distance rides and airport pick ups, can’t say nicer things!
The driver was absolutely terrific on time, super friendly, but the van he drove is built for elementary age school kids, 14 of them to be exact. First there isn’t enough leg room for a 14 year old kid let alone an adult. In the back seat I sat with 4 strangers each of our hips crammed against the neighbors and we were all average sized people. Not big. I’m over 6 feet tall and my crammed arthritic knees stuck into the back of the person in front of me was excruciating. For $40, I had hoped for a less painful ride. It was jammed completely full with the luggage literally falling out the back. Your driver was a talented Tetris puzzler- I felt really bad for him having to deal with the inadequate van Groome provided. I really appreciate public transport, but the van didn’t have enough seats and couldn’t fit everyone who needed a ride. He left a group of people at the curb who were hoping to get on but didn’t have reservations. Groome- please get an adult sized van with more seats.
I prepaid for the shuttle from DIA to my house. It was 59$. The groome agent informed me they would only be able to take me partway, not all the way, thus stranding me in a dark, abandoned parking lot! They told me, at my own expense, just get an Uber. I already had pre paid them and yet I was told I was going to have to pay again. The bus driver himself was nice enough to try to personally help me but groome did nothing. I ended up with no solution. Beware! Unsafe and horrible. Totally unreliable.
