Wish there is a negative number for rating. We reached campground after 9-10 hrs of driving and light in the campground office was on around 4pm but after knocking and trying everything else I could not find any worker. I did go on the campground found the site assigned to us and site was not appropriate for our camper. As I write this review, we are just couple of feet from our neighbour and have all the shutters down for privacy and lost any appetite to go out. Irony is there are lot of other sites available and we could be enjoying the day instead of me reluctantly writing a negative review. After setting the campsite, I got the telephone number of the office while searching other reviews. Person who picked the phone told me that staff was busy for six months and now they are on the break !!!! Person understood my frustration and told me we can move to other site but we already set the campsite and planning to leave early mornings and my better half does want to do with this campsite. Person on the phone also told me that office door had a card with telephone number where I could have called, I tried very hard to contact any worker before settling and could not locate the card with the phone number. Person on the phone told me that email confirmation had the telephone number, would have worked if my brain work normally after driving a rig for entire day. She also mentioned she can refund my money, perhaps she did not understand that I was not calling for refund. I hate to write negative review but I am part of camper community and hope this review will help other campers with realistic expectations or perhaps campground owners may make some minor adjustments to accommodate their customers.
This campground has SO MUCH potential. Our site was fairly even but some of the sites are extremely uneven and tight. Spa advertised-no Rec Room-no, in fact building labeled rec room is in ill repair and filled with junk. Beach-none Dock-in bad shape. Campground needs cleaning up, it looks very cluttered and trashy
We just spent a lovely week in Site #6. Loved the campground, the views were incredible! Everyone we met was so friendly. I really didn't want to leave.
Dishonest management. The campground does not have the amenities described. Boarded up restroom facilities left only one men's and one women's toilet in entire camp. Biggest complaint was that we rented site for entire week and they rented it to someone else before the week was over. We moved our camper out early, but did not check out since we intended to use shower during rest of week we had rented. We were surprised to find we were no longer welcome when we returned. And another camper was on our site! No refund, of course.
As a veteran who served to defend our rights, I was extremely put off when the owners informed me that even thought it was not posted anywhere at the business, that if I did not conceal my perfectly legal firearm that I keep securely on my side I had to leave the property. M8nd you I am wearing a tank top. How am I supposed to conceal a full sized 9mm with a shirt that is specifically meant to be tighter fit.
Pleasant quiet campground. Friendly owners. Thanks for having us. We enjoyed our 3 days with you.
Quiet and clean a perfect choice for camping with family or friends. Everyone was very friendly. Great choice if the goal is to spend quality time together. Playground: Small simple playground, close enough to a few campsites to let kids play while watching on. Restrooms: Very clean, much better than what I'd expect for a campground
We have never been before I have to say I was a bit Skeptical, with what I had read form some of the reviews. I personally did not find any reason not to give it a 5. People here are friendly. Lots of seasonal campers which are helpful Our site was nice and roomy. A bit tight to get my 27’ camper and but not bad if you know what your doing. Was offered a different site on water that became open when we arrived. We chose to keep the site we had. We will be back again soon I hope.
We received a GC for a Christmas gift. Very nice owner and great place for family in the summer.
We stayed here for the whole summer while travel nursing in Lewiston. It was worth the hour drive both ways. The beautiful sunsets and the peaceful nights made our summer. Many thanks to Tiffany, Kevin, and Hunter and their superb hospitality. We loved it here!
