I visited the smoothie counter, and couldn't have had a better experience. The smoothies were delicious, and the people working behind the counter couldn't have been nicer. The whole store has a lovely old-fashioned vibe, but the products being sold are up-to-date, and include items that you can't find in a typical CVS-type drugstore. I plan on going back the next time I'm in the area.
As a practicing physician regularly prescribing medication for my patients, I know the value of a good pharmacy. Now that I take medication on my own, I am grateful that my village has a local pharmacy providing personalized service tailored to my needs. Don’t let your insurance company strong arm you into mail order or the big chains. With a little effort, you can stay local & it pays. Thank you Greenleaf for caring!
I’ve recently been sick and have bad to visit the pharmacy multiple times for both over the counter and prescription medications. I can’t say enough about Bill or the rest of the staff at Greenleaf! They are kind, take the time to explain things, and are super accommodating! Also, they carry generic versions of most drugs which save you tons of money. Couldn’t be happier!! Love them!!!
Now that I am older and finding myself going to the pharmacy a lot, I really appreciate Greenleaf. The excellent, friendly, helpful service is outstanding. No comparison whatsoever to CVS and Walgreens. We are very lucky to have this pharmacy in our town.
Rude staff literally every time I’ve dealt with them. They also lie about prices amongst other things. Tried to charge me for medication I’ve been taking for years that is covered by my insurance. They told me my insurance had expired. What do you know I called my insurance and that was not true. Moved my prescription to CVS and received my medication promptly and without charge. Stay far away from this place: Extremely shady business practices.
Greenleaf is the best, most helpful pharmacy we’ve ever used. Unlike Walgreens who have driven several local, mom-n-pop shops out of business since they arrived these Greenleaf has done nothing but go above and beyond for us. They even kept the doors open a little extra late for us when we had an emergency. And feel good bonus here, I feel great that we’re keeping our business local by going here.
I’m sorry, but can I just be the one voice of discontent?! This pharmacy is staffed by angry old people and ridiculously overpriced. It always seems to take them forever to fill my prescriptions, and sometimes I have to come back multiple times because the orders are not ready in a timely fashion. It’s too bad because a friendly neighborhood pharmacy would be lovely in this town…..
I've been coming here for 27 years my whole life and every time the customer experience is outstanding. The pharmacist has always been cordial and polite and notified me via phone about all the details surrounding my medication and insurance. I only write reviews when I really like a place and this is a very likeable place!
Greenleaf Pharmacy in Hastings is an amazing place! Through the years and through all phases of the COVID crisis, Greenleaf has been a rock and anchor for tons of people! We encourage everyone to support Greenleaf by getting their medicine there. If you have a chronic condition, there is no substitute for a personal relationship to a pharmacist ! The people at Greenleaf are knowledgable, helpful, kind, caring, calm and most of all PRO-ACTIVE. Right now, you can go inside in a very controlled manner with one door entry/exit, masks required and very few people at a time. It is SPOTLESSLY CLEAN! There is one directional movement clearly marked, plus you are offered the most delightful free hand sanitizer -- must be aromatherapy-scented! Greenleaf has many items you may need including a vast array of vitamins and supplements both conventional and not. They also have a delivery service and always have had that. From day 1 of the pandemic, Greenleaf had a controlled pick up system that kept their workers safe and the prescriptions and personal care items flowing. They should be commended for their excellent example and vital function they serve in the community.
Cannot say enough nice things about Bill, Ed, Linda and the rest of the staff who have worked with me and my doctors making the pharmacy component of the delivery of medical services a help and not a hindrance. Cannot recommend this caring neighborhood pharmacy highly enough. Five stars is simply not enough. They deserve ten!
