Tucked back on a hill overlooking US-29, the Taylors Burdette library branch is a good place to for some quiet work or reading. The rear façade is a long array of beautiful windows overlooking the mountains, though the view is partially obscured. The drive through book drop is one of the most easily accessible in Greenville, if you need to make a quick return.
Really awesome place. Very good community. If you are connecting to VPN for office work then its not the rite place. Internet speeds are 2mbps with excellent wireless connection. Usually libraries are silent but visitors are really talkative all day long..
I love this library. It has a beautiful view and is never crowded. Very helpful staff. A real boon to our community.
I love libraries in general, and this one is very cozy. It's not very big, but they still have a decent selection of books, magazines, etc. They also have a great study area with a few tables and adequate chairs for seating. The staff is very helpful with both physical and digital media. The place itself is nice and clean, both inside and out.
On the few occasions I've gone in everyone's been very nice and helpful. They have a surprisingly good selection of crafts knitting, etc books. Very clean and following all COVID-19 protocols.
Nice and much quieter than other nearby libraries. I like the later hours during the week. Nice restrooms
We homeschool and use the library weekly. The library is always clean and the atmosphere is friendly. Everyone is helpful. My eight year old enjoys the extra programs they have such as Science Day and Art Day.
Best library ever. The librarians are so so nice and helpful. I've been coming here since I was a kid and could not recommend it more highly.
Love the Taylors Burdette branch...staff is wonderful and so nice, always clean, my kids love visiting and picking out books even the noisy and more hyper ones, and if you don’t find what you’re looking for in their selection, you can request it and it will arrive at Taylors in no time.
Always a good time with the kids. We turn off all electronics and distractions and read a book and tell about the adventure or what was learned. Never packed, always pleasant.
