I had a lot of respect for police officers of all kinds…well that all changed Thursday night.I’m not gonna go in detail but you do not threaten someone by telling them you gonna take them to jail just because you are tired of dealing with the public. It wasn’t just one officer but a group of em going on a power trip. If you gonna take someone to jail then do it but don’t threaten them especially since No one disrespected any officers. All respect was giving and yet no respect from the officers… If you don’t like your job then pick a different career. Attitudes will get you no where. How do you expect the public to have your back when you have officers in the line of duty acting up.
4-26-22: Always treated fairly and feel safe. The Honor Guard presented the Colors for Mission BBQ’s grand opening today.
Shot my son in the head 17 times because he had cancer and I'd rather spend money on crack than on chemo. The officer was very chill and understanding, even cleaned up the body for free he's a real one.
Called about fraud and found out the guy that committed the fraud has a felony warrant out for his arrest.......told by several officers and higher ups that they don't serve warrants unless he were to come in and check to see if he has any warrants. This is by far the laziest PD I have ever heard of. If you want protection in Greenville......better handle it yourself.
Officer incorrectly depicted location of vehicles involved in car accident on report, making it unclear for the insurance adjusters to determine who is at fault. Now the innocent driver has to pay out their deductale $500 and incur several hundred dollar rate increase for the next 3 years and has no car because it was totaled. Details matter officers!!! We suffer cause you do a half-a$$ed job.
They hate women! They do not protect female domestic violence victims at all they will instead act like you are lying and worse they will feel sympathetic to the accused @buser. if you aren’t be@ten to de@th don’t call them unless your abuser k#lls you that is the only way they will maybe attempt to lift a finger. ALL WOMEN IN NEED GO TO THE MAGISTRATE!! Or contact CENTER FOR FAMILY VIOLENCE PREVENTION! on 3rd st For help, that is the only way my @buser was arrested and I was able to get a protection order. THEY ARE 100% TRASH!!
I am very happy with Greenville Police Department. My wife’s truck was recently involved in a hit and run. They had the offender in 2 hrs or less. The officer dropped the information off at our house so we could work out the insurance info. Other instances they have been very helpful. Chaplain Daniels and Chief Holtzman And other leaders have proven themselves to be very professional and helpful.
Wow really wish someone will come investigate this department. Nothing but horrible encounters with the police here. Even when I'm the victim I'm still treated as if I was the criminal. All the officers have been racist, unprofessional, rude, and simply just don't care. Even the 911 operator was rude and hung up on me after calling about an accident! I go to ECU here in Greenville and as a college student, I wouldn't trust my life with these "officers". Thanks will be moving out of this town sooner than later
Very professional officers, the officers of the crisis prevention unit are great. Can't remember the officers names but he was very professional. Those guys came at the end of there shift, delt with a very difficult situation, got matters under control, gave us very important information we could use days after they were gone and they were not rushed to get away to go home even after the sun was rising.
They lie for their own motives, text while driving, and listen to lies of others. Don't trust them just because they wear a uniform. Don't trust anyone for the title they carry.. but more from the way they speak and hold themselves. You can see through it.. always.
