I Live in Anderson South Carolina but was in Greenville a few days ago my car broke down and I had to call 911, the police that were dispatched to assist me were amazing they were very friendly, very helpful and as far as I’m concerned they saved my life that day because I am originally from Chicago so I didn’t know anyone to call to help me . and they came and one of the officers was nice enough to stay with me until I got my car going. I really appreciate the help they gave me, so I give the Greenville Police Department two thumbs up. They saved the day for me that day.
I was struck by a vehicle who ran red light as I had the green arrow. From the movement the cop arrived he was already for the other person as he allowed them to change their statement, decide put no one at fault. I got a trip Er with a hurt leg as I will have problems the rest of my life. As he was rude to us.I am not saying all cops are like that but he was a douch.
My car was stolen in Greenville. Police department repeatedly led me on and refused to put in a police report. Its been 3 days since and no report has been filed. They know who the person who stole it is and where he lives and wont do anything. Because I live in charlotte they want Charlotte PD to file the report. The theft happened in downtown Greenville. 72 hours later and my car is still being driven by the thief.
I was the victim of a hit-and-run recently my car was hit from behind and the driver took off, and Officer Bowles came out in the pouring rain to write up the report that I could give to my insurance company. He was very patient and sympathetic.
Had a piece of equipment stolen from my lot and was recovered in Greenville. Took 15 minutes of getting transferred to get what I needed for paperwork also Stephen from Public Records is unprofessional. After he hung up on me the first time, I was eventually transferred back to him and he still had an attitude. Man should probably work in a closet and have no direct contact with the Public.
Steven in public records may be the most unprofessional, disrespectful person I’ve ever conducted a conversation with. Inquiring information about a business matter in which there was theft he just hung up as soon as we told him who we were. We were transferred back to him and he was short and rude again. Pathetic excuse of an employee.
The police force in Butler County is hard at work, especially those in Greenville. They are very polite, respectful, honest, while they are serving and protecting the citizens of Greenville and traveling patrons. We were traveling out of town and had a personal fender bender today in Greenville. The officers came promptly, were refreshingly polite, informative, and helpful. Officers do not get enough appreciation for all the hard work they do and the "stuff" they put up with. Thank you all very much and we appreciate all you do! Good work to all of you and Chief Ingram!
I want to congratulate Detective Hawkins for a wonderful job that he has done and continues to do. Detective Hawkins took over my case at 11 a.m. I sent him pictures of what to be on the the look at for at 4 p.m and recovered what was mine by 6 p.m. It only took him 2 hours. He has done me and my Family a great service and we are forever grateful. This man needs to be promoted immediately and the residents of this city can sleep well at night knowing that he is on the job!!!! =
SLOW SLOW SLOW!!!!! The officers for visitation are rude and don’t have respect for any one especially the elderly one. They take forever to post bonds. They take FOREVER hours to release individuals that have paid their bonds to go home. The visitations never start on time. Overall they need to do better with officers and the system that they have!
The officers are top notch. I know you are probably short staffed and have unfilled openings but, every time I see you doing your job, I am amazed at your patience and professionalism. I am proud of our officers and whole-heartedly back you. Thank you for all you do.
