Greenwood Cemetery, Biddeford, ME

Beautiful and some very old graves.

I have been going to this cemetery for over 40 years visiting a family plot. My husband and I have been maintaining the plot after his grandmother died in 1982. We have never seen the cemetery in the great condition that it is now! Bravo to the staff for the great job they have done!

The relatives of the deceased have to visit the graves from the sidewalk on elm st. Years ago Biddeford took the cemetery by eminent domain and the bodies are under the street! Check it out when you're sitting there at the red-light. Sad

Very quiet spot even though it was next to a major road. Very well maintained. Lovely headstone art.
