A very nice park. Big enough for basketball courts, football courts, and baseball fields. It is also bicycle friendly with a long bike path around the park and a bike racks near the toilet. The playground and sandbox are small but good enough for small kids. It has only one table near the sandbox.
Greer Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset, and admission is free. The park is a popular spot for outdoor activities and events in Palo Alto. Some of the park's features include: Baseball and softball fields Soccer fields Tennis courts Basketball courts Playground Picnic areas BBQ grills Restrooms Walking paths In addition to these features, the park also has a dog run area where dogs can play and socialize off-leash.
Kids love the playground, and the grassy field is huge enough to enjoy many activities. Restrooms are always clean and open. It's one of my favorite parks in the area.
An amazing park. Heaven for Pokemon Go players. 4 gyms and over a dozen pokestops. Fields are amazing and big. Many baseball and soccer and basketball spaces Playground: Very fun, loved it as a kid Restrooms: Unlike most public parks, actually clean Dog-friendliness: Come here with my dog all the time, love it Picnic area: what is the picnic area
What you'd typically expect from a park. Good for soccer and football, because the field is pretty big. Two of the basketball hoops there are kinda bad though. One of them makes a super loud rattling noise each time you hit the rim or backboard at all, so not the best place in terms of basketball.
Nice Atmosphere ducks pond. Many Different trails. Good Outing For family kids.
The paint makes it totally unskateable for hard skateboard wheels. They slip all over the place. It may be fun if you have super soft rubber wheels, but it's actually dangerous to skate if you hard hard street wheels
Nice open field park for soccer, baseball and has b-ball courts. Kid area. Restroom. I wonder how many people may remember that the Palo Alto Drive-In Theatre was here up to early'70 when there was a drive-in at almost every other US 101 exit !!
Great park for families with children in sports as well as adults. Not a day goes by without folks bringing their kids to some practice, like basketball, soccer, and others. Yoga classes, runners, skaters, baseball, softball ultimate, dog walkers. There is street parking around the perimeter, though it competes with the apartments here, but the parking lot next to 101 is usually never full. Restrooms are clean.
Greer Park is humongous. This park has a parking lot that is massive and you can also park along Greer Street. There are public restrooms near the basketball courts. Ample grass area for private parties, games, and entertainment. There is a skate park there as well as a walk path. First time at this park and it was GREAT!
