On my first visit to Dr. Pritchett’s office, I went in for a routine cleaning and got majorly upsold. He wanted to give me the “deep cleaning” i.e. a scaling & root planing on all 4 quadrants of my mouth, fill 7 cavities, and have my remaining wisdom teeth extracted by his oral surgeon buddy. I asked him if he could prioritize the cavity fillings down to 3 and he said no because they were all about the same to him. I allowed him to do half of the deep cleaning, but pushed back on the rest. Feeling very unsettled by this aggressive first appointment, I managed to have my X-rays transferred to another dentist for a second opinion. This dentist said I had only 1 cavity that needed to be filled and his hygienist said she could not tell that a “deep cleaning” had been done on one side of my mouth, then proceeded to give me an excellent standard cleaning on my whole mouth. Please avoid Dr. Pritchett if you can.

Everything about this place is amazing. Everyone is so so so friendly and the place is clean and updated. I’ve been to a few not-so-great dentists in the area so I’m beyond glad I found this spot! I would totally recommend!

I recently moved here from out of state, and I am so glad I chose to see Central Coast Dentist for my dental care. The staff is wonderful, and Dr. Pritchett does a great job of making sure you are comfortable and informed. I recently had some old fillings replaced and I actually fell asleep in the chair. Dr. Pritchett and his staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly! I am a new patient first cleaning today and have always been terrified of the dentist, since I was a child. However, my experience today was so pleasant and I was so very pleased with how accommodating this office was to my schedule and needs, as well as how positive the Dr. was about my dental health and creating a plan for the care of my teeth. I have very sensitive teeth and my cleaning was completed with little to no pain, which is completely game changing for me. Dr. Pritchett and his staff are so friendly. I have had so many bad experiences with dentists and today I walked in to get my tooth prepped for a crown and my anxiety level waking in was the lowest it’s ever been going to a dentist! I would recommend Central Coast Dentist to everyone!

I haven't always been kind to my teeth. Dr. Pritchett didn't guilt me about it. I got 4+ fillings and two cleanings. One of my fillings right in the front of my mouth doesn't want to stay in. All the other fillings are fine so I believe it's just the nature of that cavity and its location. They replaced it free and said they could apply the cost of that filling to a crown if it keeps coming out. That's as close to a product/service guarantee as I could expect from this dentist and his awesome team.
