Art is alive in our city! The movement to create and share fine art has brought about the need for a meeting place where artists and art lovers can come together. Introducing The Grey Gallery, a local showcase of contemporary fine art.
The Grey Art Gallery, is located at 140 West Fourth Street, Williamsport, Pennsylvania next to the esteemed Plankenhorn Stationery shop. It is the brainchild of owners Casey Gleghorn and John Yogodzinski, who believe that downtown was ready for a true contemporary art gallery.
Within recent years, a thriving community of artists has blossomed in Williamsport. The First Friday program recently celebrated 10 years of success and innovation. Local artists continue to create volumes of incredible work, and it is evident that a contemporary gallery in downtown Williamsport would benefit all.
Art is alive in our town and many local businesses contribute to the scene by featuring artwork, however pieces rarely sell. The gallery format, where contemporary art is tastefully showcased, will attract buyers as well as new artists. The gallery will traffic more business to its neighboring stores and create an economic benefit for the entire area.
Our experience includes graphic design, event promotion, and presentation of art shows at the Pajama Factory and at the Public Art Academy. Our success in selling art is proven and we are committed creating an upscale gallery destination where artists thrive, tourists visit, and citizens come to purchase artwork.
