Absolutely love it! The best staff ever! I had recently fallen on hard times and went here hoping to bun a ride to someplace better. Upon hearing my story, a helpful clerk went and got me a bag of tacos and some alkaline water. He then proceeded to tell me about how Jesus died for our sins and how he is accepting of everyone. He offered me a ride to his church and they allowed me to sleep in the basement and even gave me a job delivering packages for them! I don't want to name this person, but you know who you are!
A bus stop with pretty good and consistent service. Bloomington, Greyhound, and 3rd party buses come in and out of here all the time. Even when slightly late, my experience with the buses is that they still basically get you there on schedule.
This is also the Bloomington Transit center! Staff is rude! Buses dirty! I believe they should still offer masks to people that want to still wear them! What's with stopping at 9? Bloomington Transit are you going bankrupt?
Nice and easy. Was able to get a last minute ticket printed at the transit center. Pretty comfortable and $20 for an hour trip from Bloomington, IN - Indianapolis, IN
Wow, it's a pretty amazing bus stop. I'm mega impressed. Very nice bathroom, clean sitting area, vending machine and free WiFi! Air-conditioned and quiet, very relaxing and pleasant to wait in. The lady working on tickets and info was super nice and helpful. I felt safe and welcomed.
The absolute worst. Right now I've been on hold for 30min.Got to the terminal on time just to be told my bus was going to be delayed 3hrs after having to drive over an hour out to get to it. Called their customer service just for them to tell me their system isn't updated to reflect the delay. After that I ordered a ticket with megabus for a later time. When I called Greyhound to get a refund I was given attitude and told that the bus was on time, even though there was no bus and several other people were waiting for the same bus. Both customer service reps I talked to put me on hold and told me that they're transferring me to someone that could give me a refund. That was clearly a lie. I'm still on hold 45min later. If you can avoid greyhound please do. They're not worth the money. I wish I could give them negative stars.
Reported soap outage in ladies' restroom almost twelve hours ago, both dispensers still empty. Gross. Also concerned with clods of dust/fuzz falling periodically from the vent above the last two stalls. Staff is brusque but helpful, as far as they actually know the town at least. I wish I'd has a cell phone my first few semesters, hated feeling like a dummy because I couldn't Google addresses...
Merrillville ind was not on time but indy greyhound bus stop was faster then being picked up from Merrillville and they need to add place we're people can set and get warn up
I honestly don't even know where to start with this review. I have been riding this bus for about a year and a half and i've had some good and some bad times. The mens bathroom always has a puddle of urine under the urinals, there is always trash everywhere, the metal chairs are scratched and missing paint, the handicap buttons are scratched and loose and missing paint, there are abandoned bikes left chained to the bike racks, and there are people smoking everywhere they have literally leaned on the no smoking signs while smoking. Speaking of the people they will knock you over just to get in line before you then give you a death stare for expecting them to act like a courteous human being should act in public. the buses have 3 rules don't be loud, no food/drink, and no cigarettes. Apparently these rules are too difficult for some. the buses if you are not out at the terminal waiting on them they will do a california stop and keep on going if they are behind schedule which with all the construction is almost always. i have been late to class 4 times due to this and now leave 3 hours before i need to be somewhere just to make sure i can get there on time. there is free wifi, but unless you are in the building you wont have enough signal to connect to it.
The bus didn't show up! I don't understand why you would sell tickets for a bus that isn't coming. Now I have to call and get it changed to whenever it's certain it will be here. I'm VERY DISAPOINTED!!!!
