Despite a few hiccups, the Akron Ohio Metro and Greyhound stop surprised me with its clean facilities, vending machines, and an ATM, even though the Greyhound desk wasn't open, and my bus had a two-hour delay. It's a promising stop for future travels!
If someone doesn't answer you the first three times you say, "It's free." and your reply is, "What, you didn't hear me?" nasty and condensing... maybe you should get more sensitivity training cause her answer was, "No, I didn't. I'm hearing impaired!" only for the bus driver to laugh at the young lady who didn't know the bus was free. The system is going down and it's disgusting.
Great organized bus system, and these new bus routes through Cuyahoga Falls are awesome. Thanks for finally getting routes closer to Sutcliff apartments. These people have been waiting to get a way to ride the bus because walking to Portage Trail to get the bus was not an option for most residents because they are seniors or disabled. There is 185 units in each building, so breaking that down it comes up to around 100 houses. One whole large neighborhood of lots of people in need of transportation. Thanks from all of Cuyahoga Falls for the great new bus routes.
Is inside the transit center for Akron metro bus lines. So, lots of people who are not waiting for long distance buses. Most likely to be catching a city bus. The food/cafe has limited hours so people can not get good food between 6pm and whatever time they open. The transit is open all hours, as should be the Cafe.
I enjoy riding a bus many buses are queen usually no problem, but I will say using the restroom and the Center is a little sketchy

I love having a few moments at the transit center. Akron public library has a kiosk which delivers short stories for free. Prices at the URBEAN Cafe are reasonable and the food taste good.
Akron has the best bus system I have ever road on the buses are clean am bad the driver's are very nice and courteous
Routes are all messed up now. Got to be on the bus a extra 20-40 mins now because they are penny pinching on gas thanks Biden!
Pleasant enough. Bathrooms not the greatest. Remind ya of a jail toilet. Cashiers are always rude and won't give change out unless you buy a day pass. All electrical outlets are inaccessible so hope your phone doesn't go dead bc your in trouble if it does. It's the only way to figure out which bus to get to where your going bc they've done away with paper bus schedules. Not a very bright idea as the majority of their customers are poor and even homeless... And if your going to do away with them then at least offer people a place to charge their phones besides the one plug you offer. There's tons of others yet they arent open to use. The free wifi is priceless though. The little cafe however is a great place to grab bfst or lunch and the staff is always very pleasant. Prices affordable, great selection, fast service and very tasty freshly made food. Huge bonus to this transit station.
