Nice, easy trail to walk & enjoy view. Also, visit this cute & free museum to know the history of Griffith, Griffith.
Spring time is the best time to go. There are lots of winding trails to explore with a ton of buckeye trees. In spring time there are hundreds of varieties of wildflowers. The history of the park is quite interesting. During the fall you are in the heart of mandarin country so within a few minutes you can get a bag of the best mandarins in the state. Lots of critters and wild life there as well. Pro tip. Look out for poison oak...leaves of three let them be.
We love Griffith Park and used to go with our preschool monthly to see the changing seasons.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
If you're on the road, this is a great place for a pit stop near 80 freeway. Several picnic tables, easy trails and vistas looking towards the Sierra Nevada
Cool place to explore. Lots of little trails to choose from.
Beautiful. Great for hiking and site seeing
Excellent stop to eat your lunch &/or take a short hike.
This is an awesome place for a nature walk... beautiful views... picnic area and so much more
It is a quiet and serene place. But there are plenty of picnic areas among the oaks and shrubs, so that part of the park I imagine is quite boisterous when there are many people here. Easily accessible, fun short hiking trail to explore the area. Free museum open weekend afternoons is worth a quick stop.
