I wanted to write this review today as I believe my pup had a unique experience here. I got my black Labrador Retriever when I was 8 years old on 08/18/08. Her name was Gracie and I quickly formed a special connection with her. As I began to grow up, as did my best friend. We were there for each other through the hardest and best of times, but as time passed we only got closer. Around age 5, Gracie's appetite became more than she could handle. After breaking into a box of paintballs and consuming enough to knock out an elephant approximately 2000, or one full case to be exact. We immediately hospitalized her at Griffith, and the team was able to provide the best care they could offer. Because of that, I was able to continue life with my best friend. Next year Gracie's appetite yet again pronounced itself as a lifelong issue. She decided to eat 2 full corn cobbs out of the trash, resulting in emergency lower intestine surgery. The team at Griffith tirelessly helped us with this, and as a result of their efforts I was able to spend another 8 years with my pup. They say labs will eat anything, that was very much true with her. Gracie passed away on 08/05/22. She lived a full life at 14 years of age. Thank you Griffith animal hospital for allowing me to maximize my time with my best of friends. I will forever trust you to care for my family members.
The entire office staff at Griffith is professional and 'with it'. I wish I had noticed names - all I can say is the young lady who helped me get Hugo out of my car was so patient and helpful. Everyone in the office expresses a genuine caring spirit for animals. Dr. Griffith is everything you want in a vet for your animal in crisis. He was impressive in terms of his initial diagnosis and examination of my dog, Hugo. After examining Hugo, Dr. Griffith explained what he thought the problem was and how he was going to treat my dog. At no time was I confused about what he shared. He also called me several times over the course of the day to keep me up to date on Hugo's progress. That is above and beyond. I highly recommend this clinic.
Everyone at Griffith is so great! The staff is kind and helpful and quick to respond. Text messaging makes things very efficient, especially since the staff is so busy. Our pup went in for a blood test tech visit and one of the vets came out with him giving him love. Wish I knew who it was…hubby was there!
Thank you to all the team members at GSAH from the receptionist to the veterinarian technician "our" visit went smoothly. Spots was extremely nervous but was treated with respect and kindness. Dr. Krueger has always placed her patients needs first and made myself feel comfortable with the treatment plan. Will see you guys soon thx.
Dr. Kelly and the staff were so kind and gentle with our dog, Maggie. They took care of her annual "senior adult" yearly physical and gave me a report the next day on all her lab work. A month ago Maggie, had a bit of a health crisis. The staff took care of her then as much as possible and referred us to a vet hospital where she had surgery. The Griffith staff kept in touch with us the entire time Maggie was in the hospital as to her condition and progress. Highly recommend these folks for your pet care.
Each person I interacted with when I took my dog in to Griffith Small Animal Hospital was very nice to me and my dog. I also really like and trust Dr. Minor, who gave my dog his annual checkup. Her tech was super nice, too.
We have used Griffith Small Animal Hospital for at least 20 years. Dr. Lynn Boggs was our doctor and we loved her!!! She retired about 1.5 yrs ago. All the personnel we’ve interacted with at Griffith’s are wonderful, friendly, competent and care about animals.
Dr. Liu showed great concern and compassion for my very shy and scared cat. I've never watched another doctor spend so much time trying to make my uncomfortable cat comfortable. Eventually she decided to end the exam because of his rapid breathing and heart rate. She sent us home with a medication to take in preparation for our next appointment. I was very impressed.
I’ve been going here a little over a year and am very happy with the overall experience. Everyone is so friendly, listens to what I have to say and are especially good with my dogs. One has lots of anxiety and they do everything they can to relieve her stress level at the vet. So glad I made the switch.
