A favorite of mine with free parking for trail hiking or riding, as it’s safe and easily accessible with the upper and lower Santiago Trails! This park features lots of parking space, picnic areas, playgrounds, sports fields, courts and an outdoor gym. The Grivalja Sports Center has plenty of indoor space also available. There’s a large central field, great for a game of soccer or football! Public restrooms are available and private group spots may be reserved as per reservations. Grijalva Park is within a residential community and away from the busy traffic, so the park users tend to be more local.
Nice big clean park and even on a busy holiday, there was plenty of parking. On Easter Day the picnic area was pretty full but there was still enough shade trees for us to set up our picnic. Also lots of room for activities. There were multiple large group activities going on at the same time and there was plenty of space for all of them to operate without even getting close to each other. Could use more picnic tables around the perimeter shade trees. Enjoyed visiting. Playground: We didn't go to the playground but it looked pretty big and easily accommodated the large holiday crowd. And they sounded like they were having fun. Restrooms: Pretty basic park bathroom. But for as busy as the park was, it seemed pretty clean. Dog-friendliness: Quite a few people had their pups with no problems
Great park with a nice playground. Public restrooms and tables.
Beautiful park, with a great outdoors exercise area, soccer field, basketball courts, volleyball net, child play area, and multiple tables. It looks well maintained and everything is in great order; a perfect place for the family or on your own, to relax with a picnic or get some exercise!
I feel very safe anytime of the day. It sits adjacent to the riverbed, so you can ride your bike for miles in both direction. It has a kids playground, basketball courts, outdoor gym, and a few picnic areas. Restrooms: Always stocked and clean.
Beautiful park for the community around this area! Enjoyed my morning run here! Recommend checking out! Wish the paths were paves rather than sand though.
Awesome park with plenty of space to walk around. It was very clean and almost empty when I came here and I really enjoyed my time doing a couple laps around the park and exploring all the different paths and areas. It started to rain a bit so I packed up and headed home but this one is worth visiting if you haven’t been here before.
Overall was there for concerts in the park and was very pleased with the park facilities.
This is a nice way park but very crowded! I went on a weekday evening thinking I would take a leisurely walk around the park a few times and it was swamped with people. To be honest, because it was so crowded it wasn’t very relaxing so I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet park to relax at.
Excellent park for fitness folks young or old. Nice machines under shade covers for muscle and flexible routines. Some machines have hydraulic resistance, some use your own body weight. Easy access and friendly folks here. Some have wheel chair stations as well.
