Grinview Smiles has been making smiles brighter in the Grandview area since 2000. Dr.Grier's specialty interests are on Implants and Braces.
Changing lives one smile at a time!
Dr. Grier has a special talent and years of experience in fillings, dentures, crowns, bridges, endodontics, implants, and minor oral surgeries including third molar extractions (wisdom teeth). With people living longer, natural teeth are lasting into later years and many people are finding that their teeth are chipping or breaking and fillings don’t hold very well. This is usually due to wear and tear of teeth or to back teeth being lost and never replaced. To a lot of people this is a cosmetic issue and they do not replace them which cause the teeth to shift. By choosing our team to meet your dental needs, we will help you get to where you want to be in fewer visits. Here at Grinview Smiles we strive to offer the best dentistry available to get you a healthy smile that looks great, feels great, and that will last you for years to come!
Orthodontics:
At Grinview Smiles, we offer a specially developed Myobrace that eliminates the need for brackets, wires, and brace face. By using the latest technology, we can ensure the most beautiful smile possible, without the need for braces. We are proud to use arch developers and Myobrace to provide the most satisfactory results, without the need for awkward, uncomfortable braces. In most cases, we can even eliminate the use of a retainer after use of the Myobrace system. We have found that by treating patients at a young age, we can provide better, more stable results. This way, we can straighten teeth as they are growing in and quickly identify any potential problems. The Myobrace is most effective in adolescents and not recommended for teens or adults. The Myobrace design aligns the teeth and positions the jaw for ideal growth potential. It also corrects poor habits of muscle function of the face and tongue. We believe in correcting the problem before the damage occurs. Inadequate dental and facial development is the major culprit to crooked teeth. These malformations are caused by habits such as tongue thrust, mouth breathing, reverse swallowing, and thumb sucking. These habits can begin as early as 2 years with the jawbones being 90% developed by the age of 8. What benefits do you see in waiting until the teen years to correct these problems? Early treatment not only avoids extracting adult teeth to make room, it also creates a fuller smile with a better looking face.
