GCS and Social Media Etiquette: Connect with us!
Facebook provides opportunities for our GCS friends and families to engage with us and one another. As a school for young children and families, we welcome opportunities for individuals to express ideas and opinions! However, we do require that all comments/posts remain in the spirit of a respectful “community.” In addition to compliance with Facebook terms and policies, we request that all participants show discretion, sound judgment, and consideration in their comments/posts, and in sharing and circulating photos or videos which were taken at school in alignment with our school Photo/Video Policy.
The use of abusive, hurtful and expletive language will not be tolerated. Groton Community School reserves the sole right to review, edit and/or delete any comments it deems are inappropriate. Comments including but not limited to the following will be deleted by the moderators: hurtful, off-topic or redundant comments, personal attacks, defamatory statements, or comments that violate the privacy of our families and staff. GCS reserves the right to block a user from future postings if this policy is violated.
