Grotto ristorante is on market Street in town center in The Woodlands Houston Texas. They have valet parking right at the front door or if you can drive around the back of the building there is free parking. It's a nice clean safe parking area. Also the area has lots of shops I advised after you eat Walk It off by shopping. We entered and it was very clean the tables were all set and they greeted as right away. It is handicapped accessible. They brought water and bread and some olive oil to dip it in. There's a lot of things on the menu and the lunch menu is a very good value. our party enjoyed a good time there. The food came out hot and fresh and the quantities were larger than we expected. The prices up there a little bit but you need to look at the menu if you have a problem paying over 15 or $20. I highly recommend this place it was my first time here and I will come back again. Nathan our waiter did an excellent job and really made it a fun experience. Please leave me a thumbs up if you like my reviews.. the shrimp risotto was excellent.

My wife and I had visited Grotto before and had mixed experiences. Last night, we were pleasantly surprised that there was no wait. We were seated immediately and brought bread and water.  Oddly enough, we weren't brought menus or a wine list and there was no waiter in sight. Since we don't tend to like to be a pain, after emptying our bread basket, we started looking around trying to get some wait staff attention. There were many folks around, but nobody stopped. After 15-20 min, I wanted to leave but Lindsay went up and asked the hostess if we were supposed to have menus or a waiter. She apologized, grabbed us some menus, and quickly our server came by and apologized. Apparently he was working out a complicated check for another table. My thought is one of the other members of the wait staff should have checked in on us.  Our waiter was very attentive once he found us.  At this point, we each ordered a glass of wine only to find that they were out of both types. I had the fettuccine Alfredo and Lindsay had the lasagna. They came out quick, but neither was piping hot or as good as they had been previously.

Only did take-out & it was appetizers salad & calamari. The restaurant was a beautiful & large w private dining rooms off the main hall. The appetizers w were were prepared, the salads were good; but, I would have preferred a more green mix & the salad dressing was thin & a bit too sour due to lemon. The restaurant was highly recommended by many people familiar with it.

The perfect quiet lunch celebration of our Anniversary! A friendly welcome by Juan, and perfect service from Russell paired with the most delicious lobster bisque and entrees of Salmon Griglia and Risotto Gamberoni, topped off with 4layer chocolate cake - just perfect!

Had a great time coming here for a birthday celebration. The server we had was outstanding and even the managers we met were fun to deal with. The food was good and we all had a great time! Thank you very much for everything.

The service, the food, and the ambience is perfect. Starting with our waiter, James. My wife has many questions when we go out to eat, so James made firm recommendations with detailed reasons, and satisfied her that she should just take his advice. She did, I did, and the whole evening was perfect.  We started with some wine and a peach Bellini... insalata, then pasta... James suggested adding sausage to the pasta carbonara and wow - absolutely delicious! Lili got the linguini pescatore which was also excellent. Later, tiramisu, espresso and another suggestion from James: chamomile grappa. Perfect.  Cody the manager stopped by to introduce himself and see if we were enjoying the evening. We praised James and the food and had a great conversation.  We'll be back, for sure. Thanks James and Cody for the wonderful evening!

Absolutely fantastic experience.  Let me start by saying I don't normally take the time to write online reviews but they 100% deserve one!  The employees at this restaurant went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I first wedding anniversary dinner was as great as it could possibly be.  From the valet attendant to the hostess to the wait staff to the management everybody was absolutely tuned in on us specifically... or at least they made it feel like it!  I went in a couple hours early and ask them to Stage the table with some flowers and a card I bought my wife and they happily obliged. When I got there the server greeted us with a congratulations on our anniversary.  The manager came over and said he was providing us some complimentary appetizers to celebrate the occasion.  The food was fantastic from start to finish. And to top it all off they sent out some dessert with some sparklers to finish off the evening.  This dining experience could not have gone any better.   I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for any special occasion you or your family might have.

We recently moved from Seattle to Houston.  This place is amazing. My husband and I,  both agreed , one of the best Italian Restaurants we try so far in the area.The service we got from James was outstanding. Coby, also reached out and talked to us a bit. The service was fast. The food were very flavorful. We enjoyed the drinks too. The staff were very friendly. Great customer service. Try it out!!! As they say " Mangiate e Divertitevi"

Loved it, a lot I could say. Food was good, servers friendly and desserts yummy. We had a large group over 20 people and ordered lots of different dishes. All of us happy with our choices, as well as the time to get it. Will visit again if in the area

great food and services . I took salmon and crispy calamari was just yummy and perfect. The waiters was very excellent and we got everything we want . I like the painting and was not noisy restaurant we could hear each other voice . Some restaurant they put very loud music and could not hear each other and in the end we have a headache.
