The best local bakery that has all the greatest sugar cookies, cinnamon rolls, donuts, danish, etc. We stopped in this weekend for some Halloween sugar cookies and they were decorated perfectly and were a great hit with our family. We highly recommend them and will definitely be back for more!
We picked a Grove Street cookie assortment for our wedding dessert table and I am so thankful we did! They did a great job, everyone kept talking about how amazing they were. Great price, huge cookies, absolutely delicious and they came in great boxes that kept them safe and made transfer to the venue easy. Would absolutely recommend!
This was the second time i got raw apple fritters from you. The second time i told them about the first time they were raw i got 2 more for free along with me buying 4 other doughnuts. I'm not happy as the price is high but usually worth it. But i don't know if i would try it for a 3rd time. Maybe you need to turn the oil tep down and fry them longer to cook throughout.
First time to go specifically to get a donut on a Saturday ! Friendly service and wonderful selection of iced long jobs - custard filled pastries and my fav - choc flavored butter cream long John. Worth supporting this locally owned bakery . Ps they have thumbprint cookies as well
My colleagues are obsessed with their breakfast pastries; never been a big fan of doughnuts or the like but their cinnamon rolls and their orange muffin/scone are delicious. My favorite thing from here are their sugar cookies. Another work favorite for bringing in to share on birthdays or anniversaries. So delicious! I’ve moved but when back in town, I always stop in for a cookie. The turtle cookies are also excellent.
The bakery items are great, but under new ownership, service has greatly suffered. The staff hasn’t been friendly across many visits. Even worse is getting them to even answer the phone, which is disappointing because we had to drive in and several workers were standing around. We were able to get the same sugar cookies at Crumbl with much friendlier and available service. The cinnamon rolls are among are best in town but not worth the drive for poor service and unknown availability.
We drove in from Springfield, IL and they were out of sugar cookies by noon on a Tuesday. Definitely a bummer considering we went there specifically for the sugar cookies. My girlfriend did enjoy her chocolate chip cookie though. I got a chocolate doughnut. It was just ok. I didn't end up eating all of it. I'll eventually give this place another chance. Next time I'll know to arrive much earlier.
I simply adore Grove Street Bakery sugar cookies … And I love how Grove Street Bakery supports our community! For the month of June the purchase of #pride cookies supports the LGBTQIA+ Youth Scholarship Fund through Prairie Pride Coalition. 25% of sales generated by Pride cookies benefit our local LGBTQIA youth. PS - also a huge fan of their cinnamon rolls and donuts … but the cookies are FABULOUS!!
This is our favorite go to for amazing donuts, cookies, and sweet rolls. Not only does my family love a trip to Grove Street but so do all the teachers at my school when I want to treat them. Great food and friendly service!
I LOVE Grove Street Bakery! Of course I love their tasty baked goods, but I especially love how they support our community! In this day and age it is especially important to be including of ALL and Grove Street seems to do this effortlessly! Way to send positive vibes out into the world....in both actions and sweet, delicious treats!! Thanks for being such a wonderful example for us all!
