The Health Council meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 12:00 noon CST at the UT Extension Office in Coalmont, TN.
The Grundy County Health Council was established to address the health needs of Grundy County residents and oversee the health status of Grundy County. The council is made up of local health care professionals, elected officials, and other local citizens. The council has orchestrated various activities to address health needs including forums for TennCare issues, free health screenings, and other special projects for the citizens of Grundy County.
The mission of the Grundy County Health Council is to assure that quality health care is accessible, available, and affordable to fellow residents.
