GSGA represents student interest by acting as liaison within the college community, glorifying God & fulfilling the broader mission of Greenville University.
Greenville Student Government Association consists of an Executive Cabinet, which exists to serve the student body. The student body elects the President and Executive Vice President each year. A selected panel, made up of members of the Executive Cabinet and faculty advisers, interview and select the other members. These include the Executive Administrative Assistant, the Vice President of Campus Activities Board (CAB), the Vice President of Campus Organizations Board (COB), the Vice President of Greenville Student Outreach (GSO), the Vice President of Intercultural Affairs Board (IAB), the Vice President of Finance, and the Vice President of Media and Communications.
Each class elects a Class Cabinet to serve them for that year. The president and vice president of each class serve on the Inter-Class Council, chaired by the VP of COB.
Student Senate, chaired by the Executive Vice President, also represents the student body at large. Members of Senate have the opportunity to serve on committees and voice the concerns of students.
Students can get involved in GSGA by participating on the boards of CAB, GSO, IAB, running for a Senate or Class Cabinet position, or by simply taking part in the activities that GSGA creates.
