Don rent here. My unit was broken into and stole $1000 werth of car audio. Kicked in bottom door. No safety. And ppl live in there units. Mostly druggies. Everything's gone.
All I can say about them is the road that my sister's storage is on was clean but the dogs barking up the yin yang that was annoying or you can't get anybody in the office during the week
Been going throught them for 6 years. They hiked our rent due to the fires. And did not inform us. We spent 3 days taking all of our stuff out. We had rat dropping all over our dresser and in boxes things chewed up by that rats. We have mold on a lot of the stuff. Including a samsonite suitcase with all the contents filled with mold. We spent 3 days trying to close out the account even cleaned the unit. They did not give us our deposit back we paid more than what they are claiming. And told us to write a list, take picture and price of all the stuff that was ruined. And bring it in. To have the boss approve the reimbursement of our stuff. This place is worthless
Prices are about average. Our unit hasn't been broken into. : Sometimes people cut holes in the fence but the management patch it up pretty quickly. Sometimes the security gate seems stuck open.
The staff is really friendly and very professional. I chose them to place my stuff when i moved out of my home in december. I got a 1/2 discount for the first 2 months which was nice since i finances were tight since i was moving. It is a very clean complex and the units are a good size and stay dry. I would def recommend them to anyone that is moving and looking for a storage unit to rent.
BE AWARE OF THEM TAKING MORE MONEY THAN YOU APPROVED! We have been using this storage unit for a LONG time now. We never had issues when we first started but then it’s changed management so many times. And now, whoever is running the office/billing must be dyslexic or something. He flipped the numbers in the payments, he was supposed to submit a $103 payment, but what he submitted was a $301 payment. TWO HUNDRED FREAKING DOLLARS MORE THAN HE WAS SUPPOSED TO. Now we are STILL trying to fight for our money back. The “mistake” was caught less than 10 minutes after the phone call when he agreed to refund the payment and said it would be back on the card. HE NEVER STOPPED THE PAYMENT. He’s not answering the phone or returning phone calls either. And now we have to dispute it which can take up to a MINIMUM of 45 days!! If you come here, be very aware of the payments coming out of your account.
We have have been a customer here in the Marysville facility for a few years. This time we first rented here in 1997 when we first moved to town. The stall are always friendly and very helpful. We have altered who can enter our unit and also up graded to a larger unit. and the staff helped with both issues and never acted like it was a problem. My husband is a Vietnam Veteran and we were given the military discount the month after our move-in special ended and have had it continue even through our unit up grade without a problem. I like the many options available to make a payment and the hours to enter your unit are the best in town. The security gate and video cameras are a great security to me when my husband cant come with me
This is the most shadist, fake fee applied to your bill to make sure you lose your unit. The manager Lieman, is the most unprofessional, unbelievable, shadly person to run this business. Do Not do business with Guard Dog Self Storage Marysville ca. Or with the on site manager Leiman by any means. If out have your stuff there move I as soon as possible. I have contacted the police, the Secretary of State business license entities, California Better Business Bureau, the manager sited on the latest filed paperwork with the state. And here is my story, my son was brutally murdered in 1996 by a serial killer in yuba City California. Michael was 8 years old on May 16th 1996 he was abducted and taking to the river and tortured for 10 hours being stabbed 70 to 80 times none of them intending to kill him. I have been a child advocate for 18 years helping to pass laws to protect our children and to keep these monsters behind bars where they belong. Recently I lost my home and I put my stuff in a storage my most valuable things plus everything that I had of my son Michael. though I was unaware of how the things were going to turn out the next few months I ended up getting behind and ended up losing my storage. But I did not give up I did everything I could to find out who bought my storage so I could pay them and try to get my son stuff back. I succeeded in finding out who bought my storage through a mutual friend named JC Moreno. He set it up so I could get my stuff back from the actual storage Guard Dog thru the on-site manager. My mutual friend Jc who was also a buyer at the auction knew the buyer of my unit so he decided He'd be the go between so I could get my stuff back and lieman could make something on the side. I paid what the buyer wanted $150 and put up my 45 handgun to lieman to hold the unit until I could get it moved. I gave them everything that Wednesday the 5th and by Saturday the 8th I was denialed my stuff. And the manager threatened me with a hangun thru the window which they have cameras on the inside of the office if the cops would have looked. I also have recorded conversations texts phone logs, messanger and witnesses to prove everything I'm saying. I still have not got my things of my murdered son Michael.
Great place to store your belongings. Easy access, VERY clean and safe and dry. Fair prices for storage units and 45 minutes in either direction of: Sacramento, Chico, Sierra Foothills. Close to Beale Air Force Base, Marysville, Yuba city and more. Brett, on site manager is kind and always available for questions and operations. This is your place to keep your belongings safe and dry.
I've been having my storage unit here for quite a while the lady who runs it Chelsea she's okay just a girl's darling woman really darling the storage facility is always clean no worries
