My fave of course is the annual fall book and bake sale! Guilford library has lots of nice nooks and comfortable seating areas. Right on the green, a great location to browse the shelves and chill.
Guilford has a wonderful library! They have a fantastic selection of books and all types of media. Come here to get coupons for reduced or free admission to museums etc. nice sitting areas inside and out to sit and enjoy a nice read! Come here as often as you can
This is just a lovely library - adorable spaces, excellent collection, knowledge and helpful staff, many extra services. I could spend days there, and it's a great place for children to learn the love of reading.

The Guilford library is a spacious wonderful and vibrant place. You'll feel better once you've been there, no matter what is going on in life. Theres just something about it, serene, energizing, everyone enjoys being there. An electronic piano is upstairs and people play on it using headphones, so as not to make noise. There are lectures on video making with cell phones, etc.; there's a book club or two and much more Oh, and they have a great selection of books to choose from.
Guilford Library is a wonderful library, clean, spacious, not stuffy. They offer book clubs for adults and have a section devoted to kids and one for teens. The many free computers they allow the public to use are updated and have a lot of software programs installed. I think they even have software like Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc. There's an electric piano upstairs; they offer a book exchange and a DVD exchange so you can read any book and watch any movie you like. I'm sure they offer even more. It's a delightful place to spend time.
Beautiful downtown Guilford Library, 2 floors, comfortable seating, large glass windows with a large selection of reading materials. Very friendly staff, always there to help.
Great library, except I wish the quiet study section wasn’t next to large open windows without shades. The sun becomes a distraction and I think I probably have sunburn on half of my face no matter which desk I choose. On the plus side they have s large amount of books in their catalog and several open computers at all times.
I live 15 miles away and make the trek to use this library because it has a huge selection of books that I cannot get locally. They have a great section of Connecticut History books that are fantastic for exploring local history, legends and nature. They also have a large selection of DVDs and CDs for your use. Additionally, be sure to visit their local historic records room and be prepared to be in awe of the collection at hand for anyone looking to research their genealogy, local history, etc. This Library is a GEM!
