These folks are just so caring. We just switched to them because they are close and came highly recommended from some friends. Our pup is terrified of the vet, and one of the techs held her in a big hug while she got her shots. It was so so sweet. It's just an amazing place to bring fur babies.
I brought my 13 year old Great Dane here for an emergency, I was afraid she had a pyometra. An infection in her uterus. They were able to get me in within 30 minutes. All of the staff were so friendly and sweet to my fur baby. They quoted me for the surgery and when I told them I just could not afford that, they were able to refer me to another Vet that could do the surgery for less. I am so thankful for them. Thank you!!
While visiting family in Greensboro, we discovered a lump in our 12 year old goldendoodle' s neck. They were able to see us same day and suspect inflammed lymph node. Hopefully a course of antibiotics will do the trick. Tech and vet were very nice and the cost was reasonable. Would not hesitate to return if need vet care again.
Dr. Barker saw my cat, Ethan, for the first time yesterday after the Cat Clinic turned their backs on him. She was wonderful! Very kind! She listened to my concerns, and referred us to a specialist for his uncontrolled diabetes. Honestly, this was something that should have been done many months ago by his previous clinic. Also Breanna, the supervisor there, is super awesome! Our tech was very informative when providing education. Just a great experience! We are looking forward to seeing the specialist to hopefully understand what is going on with him. Thank you!
Very friendly and nice staff. They went above and beyond. Under construction but went out of their way to make sure I wasn't inconvenienced at all. They were extremely helpful on the phone as well. Got us in same day. Accommodating to my terrified dog. Thank you!
I took my puppy there for the first time as my normal vet couldn't do her vaccines for another few weeks, the staff and doctor I met with were great, explaining everything thoroughly, and also informing me of every option I had for my pet what would be needed in the future , 6 stars
This practice has been part of my “pet life” for thirty years. Now Dr. Barker is an excellent care giver. Recently have had experience with Vet Tech "Lee" and "Veronica." Everything went well and I think maybe some of the staffing issues have been remedied very well. Thanks for your concern regarding Sam and his loving pet parent.
I had a horrible customer service experience on my most recent visit. None of the visits have been stellar the last few years since Dr. McCall and Dr. Kennedy left, but this one was the last straw, and we will not be returning. About 3 weeks ago I had a well visit for yearly check up for my dog. We arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment to check in and proceeded to wait over 30 minutes in the lobby for our scheduled appt. This morning I scheduled a 4:30pm sick visit because my dog hasn’t been feeling well. I had a work call that ran a bit over so I was a little late leaving my home 30 minutes away. I attempted to call the vets’ office twice to let them know of my tardiness, no one answered. I arrived at 4:39p and walked my dog around to try and collect a sample for the vet. There were no bags in the container so we went inside a couple minutes later. I wasn’t greeted by a receptionist, instead I had to say hello and introduce myself. I apologized for being late and let her know I’d tried to call several times. She skipping a greeting or acknowledgement of mine proceeded to tell me we’d have to reschedule my appointment to the next day because I was over 10 minutes late for my appointment setting: very few cars in the lot, no one waiting in the lobby. I firmly but politely said, I would appreciate some grace considering I tried to call with no answer, I had previously waited 20 minutes past my last scheduled appointment time when they were running behind and that I had driven 30 minutes for a sick visit for my unwell pet. She walked to the back and stayed gone several minutes then came back around the corner with another vet tech who echoed that they had spoken to the vet and would need to reschedule. At this point, my politeness was gone, and I firmly let them know how inappropriate this was being handled and that I didn’t appreciate the lack of customer service - the response I received was a shrug and a 3rd echo about rescheduling. Not only will I not be returning but I had already called another vet to have the records transferred before I left the parking lot.
Wow! I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was with this vet. Leah and Dr. Loryn were amazing. They were so nice, patient, and knowledgeable. They didn’t rush me and answered all my questions, including making sure my dog was comfortable. It’s the little things that go a long way. I’m happy to say this will be our vet from now on!
We had been taking our pets here for quite some time and up until here recently we were very pleased with the service. On May 16th, we brought our chihuahua in because he was continuously coughing which he had never done before. The vet tech came in the room and immediately started talking about price’s before we ever saw the vet. She was hands down the worst vet tech I have ever been around. I wouldn’t recommend her to be around any animal, period! Her bedside manner was terrible. It was as if she thought she was the vet and proceeded to tell me everything that the vet would want to do. I felt very disrespected because she spoke to me like I was a child and I am nearly 50 years old. I did not appreciate being talked down to. She kept going in and out of the room. Clearly she was leaving the room to go and consult with someone while she left us waiting. There was a concern that he may have a collapsed trachea so they took x-rays. When Dr. Loryn finally came in the room, we were told that the trachea was fine and there were no signs of it being collapsed but that he had kennel cough. We were given an antibiotic, cough medicine and furosemide to give to him. After spending over $400, we were sent on our way. Now mind you, we never saw our dog examined. Everything was done out of the room, out of our sight. We gave our dog all of the medication as directed and we saw a slight improvement but nothing like what we had hoped for. He continued to cough and it gradually got worse and worse. Fast forward to this past Monday night. We were up all night with him, scared out of our minds. The coughing was the worst it had ever been. We called another vet first thing Tuesday morning and they were able to see us that day. It turns out our sweet boy does in fact have a collapsed trachea after all. Unbelievable! Our baby had to suffer for no reason at all. These people are completely incompetent and clearly they are money hungry and could care less about your pet. We are so thankful for our new vet. We have seen a huge difference in our dog since Tuesday. The medication he is on has helped tremendously and there’s been little to no coughing whatsoever. Please do not take your pets to this vet. Save your time and your money. This is what happens when big corporations take over. It’s never about you or your pet. It’s all about the money.
