Guilford Lake State Park

My grandsons had so much fun swimming at the beach. It was so nice to be able to shower them in the changing/restrooms. Nice and clean too.

A very good way to relax and unwind, in my way of doing a quick getaway. Very peaceful and enjoyable!

Guilford Lake is an awesome local state park with so much to offer! We've been coming here for years, whether just to swim at the public beach, fish, cookout and memorable of all was eventually camping in our own family cabin just steps away from the water!

Beautiful place! I grew up going to the beach. So many fun memories. My family still camps there. I came back to visit Memorial day weekend. We rented a pontoon boat for a couple of relaxing hours from Mark's Landing. Can't wait to go back!

This is a small Ohio State Park that is easily reached from my home. Campground, beach, restaurants all very nice. Great fishing for largemouth, crappie, bluegill, catfish, and an occasional good hybrids.

Had so much fun every time we visit Guildford Lake, there's so many things to do here. From a cozy beach area, play grounds and cookouts. Stunning views from the lake and even fishing is available. Great getaway for the weekend. : Playground: Medium size playground surrounded by greenery. So the options to play with games or balls brought over is available. Restrooms: Restrooms are clean. Showers and dressing rooms are available. I will recommend to bring toiletries just in case. Dog-friendliness: Prepare ahead to bring your dog, from water/food and bags to clean after them. But for the most part they will have a great time at the lake. Picnic area: There are tables available and a few static grills too but if not you could bring your own. There's enough space for all kinds of picnics :

Really nice campground. Only about 40 sites. Most of them have plenty of shade. The sites are shorter than many of the other State parks I have visited. The campground is right next to the lake with several sites right next to the lake. Several docks for those who bring their boats. But for those of us who didn't.. we can use them to fish from! The camp store has kayaks and paddle boats to rent. A very small sandy beach is located within the campground for swimming. The campground is very well maintained and in my opinion the restrooms and shower house were very clean. This was our first time here, but now we plan to come here allot more often!

My girlfriend and i went kayaking and registered our kayaks at the state parks office. The lady at the office was super nice too.

To start, The fishing isn't very good. The park could be alot cleaner as well. The best part is you can go to Mark's Landing and rent a pontoon boat for 45 an hour and boat around the lake. Overall decent lake.
