Gujarati Foods was founded by Urmila and Vallabh Patel in 1974. Born from a desire to celebrate the very best of their culture with a new Canadian community, over the past 35 years, Gujarati Foods has grown to become the largest and most established Gujarati caterer in the Greater Toronto Area.

“GUJARATI FOODS” Love it. Everything is fresh and tastes like real gujarati food. So far I have tried so many things and never got disappointed but if you ask my FAVOURITE is FULVADI. The taste of FULVADI is soo good and I thing this should be their USP.
really nice place...they serve gujarati snacks fresh also sabji and roti on a reasonable rate...but if you want goof variety one should go early morning. we went there around 3 and it was almost sold out. parking is free but limited. Opening hours: Monday 10-3pm Tuesday/ Wednesday 9to6pm Thursday/friday 9to7pm Saturday 9to6pm Sunday 9to5pm
Disappointing Experience - Poor Quality Puri I recently purchased puris from you, and to my dismay, the quality was subpar. Upon examination, the puris looked as if they had already been consumed or were left out for an extended period. The texture was far from the crispiness I expected, and instead, they felt tough and oily. Regrettably, the taste mirrored the poor appearance and texture. It was evident that these puris were not prepared with care or fresh ingredients. The overall experience left me unsatisfied and hesitant to revisit this shop for any future purchases.
I got so many things like sabudana vada, cutlets, bateta vada, samosa, fafda and Kathi rolls. I just asked I don’t eat onion garlic, they said all is without onion garlic and here I am eating kathi roll with onions now. Well this is clearly not acceptable. Just to sell things you have played with my emotions. Never coming back or recommending anyone. All other items are average. I being gujju myself I know this is not authentic taste. Just branding and packing is good but not the taste
An awesome spot to grab some authentic home style Gujarati food...plenty of ready to eat snacks, and sweets, as well as other dishes all freshly made at their location in Brampton...no real space to sit down and eat here, you need to bring everything with you and enjoy it at home. Only downside of this place, is that it's not so easy to find, you'll probably end up driving past it like I did. Vegetarian options: It's all vegetarian... at least as far as I could tell.
Authentic Gujarati flavors. I love the cleanliness of this place and the friendly staff. I tried the dudhi no halwo, undhiyu, patra, khaman dhokla, kadhi, dal, samosa, sabudana vada, cutlets, lilva kachori and coconut potato buff vada. Each and every item was mouth watering and was totally worth the price. Some items are sold by weight and some by pieces. Prices are justified for the quality you get. This place speaks of good hygiene. I wanted to try the khandvi but they were sold out. Khandvi is only available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. There is ample parking and this place offers a good variety of sev and other gujarati snacks apart from the fresh foods. The dudhi no halwo took me back to India. If you are craving for foods from Vibrant Gujarat, this is the place to go.
Bought two packages of Peanuts on the afternoon of July 25/2023-one by my brother and myself. In the evening my brother rings informing me of the staleness of the nuts. I agreed with him told him we have been shafted. There is no best before date and you can’t open the packages to verify the freshness of the product. VERY DISAPPOINTED
I have tried couple other places where one gets Gujarati cuisine. I found Gujarati foods by far the best in quality and taste . It is a bit on pricey side but the quality of the food justifies it. I have tried their Jalebi and Fafda and compared to the other places this tastes better and less oily. Must try this place out.
This place is not as it used to be. The food they are making nowadays is almost unpalatable. Tried fafda, khaman, batata vada at different occasions to be disappointed all the time. How can you mess up big-time with popular Gujarati delicacies! I had reviewed it 4* in the past but not going there again.Food: 1/5
Authentic Gujarati cuisine with original taste and flavours! Very professional staff and service! We have been receiving catering services from this place for many years and their taste and quality has remained consistent since its inception. They use the best ingredients and make delicious 100% vegetarian Gujarati and Kathiyawadi items. My wife has a very high standard for food, and she highly rates this place i.e., 5 stars rating given here is our family consensus!. Recently, Gujarati Foods provided catering for my daughter’s wedding events. All meals were of high quality and good quantity for a large gathering; and all guests were very happy about it! Mr. Viral Patel and his team did a fantastic job Thank you Gujarati Foods! If you are looking for Gujarati wedding/birthday event caterers or just want to pick up yummy Gujju food, this is the place to go!
