When my dad passed, I recieved some very old guns. A couple of late 1800's rifles, a WWI German luger from 1916, and a 1940's 22 pistol. They needed restoration, and I came here because of the 5 star reviews. Let me tell you... This place is ABSOLUTELY 5 stars. Brian takes so much pride and care in his craft, and you can see how much he enjoys every moment gunsmithing. He's so incredibly knowledgeable about so many guns and their history, and although it probably sounds cliché, he treats them like they're his own. I just went out and shot the restored guns, and they were absolutely incredible. He also gave me history on the guns, which was awesome. He was on time with his estimate of how long it would take, and the final result was extraordinary. I dropped off another early 1900's marlin 22 for restoration. I've found my gun Doctor for ally guns! I can tell you, if I need anything done, I'm coming here. You should too!
Highly recommend The Gun Doctor aka Brian. He's very friendly and easy to talk to. Just knock on the door, tell him what you want done. When the job is done, you pay. I'm very pleased with the pin and weld job he did my my 14.5", now 16" rife. It came out very clean. I'll definitely be coming back to Brian for any of my future firearm repair needs. Pricing is good, and quality work is guaranteed.
Brian, and his wife Anna, were outstanding. I would and will bring every gun that needs servicing, repair, or sighting to them without hesitation. I will also use them for CCW certifications / re-certifications as they also instruct. I have a Mossberg "Brownie" manufactured in 1920 that needed some restoration work to clean it up, make it fire-able and to replace the extractor. I was hesitant to take it to just "anyone" because it is over 100 years old. After researching, I decided on the Gun Doctor and I was not disappointed. When you walk into their small shop, you know immediately you're in the right place to address your gun issues. Brian and Anna Clark are personable, straight-forward, honest, candid, priced very reasonably and a real pleasure to work with. Brian is very communicative. He took in my gun, told me how long it would be, estimated the cost and lived up to everything he said. Brian does not up-sell and he does not mark-up parts. He is in the business to use his knowledge and expertise to address issues with guns, and he does so professionally, enthusiastically and honestly. He is an excellent gunsmith with an interesting background. I commend The Gun Doctor Nevada to you whole-heartedly. You can trust his work and service and you'll love the price.
Brian and Anna were very helpful and professional when I had my revolver shopped through them. They helped me through my first time buying a gun online and getting all the proper paperwork through. They were very accommodating with my unique situation and got me taken care of efficiently. Can't wait to take some training classes with them and will be coming back for any repairs that I need!
Recently had Brian look at an old Mauser I brought in that was having issues with parts being stuck. He was extremely polite and professional and even went out of the way of removing rust from the parts once they were removed. I was very impressed and can’t wait to bring more of my projects. Highly Recommended.
I brought an old Winchester shotgun that I inherited from my grandfather in to have it cleaned and to fix the forearm that was not pumping smoothly. Brian is very pleasant to work with and was straightforward with his recommendations and pricing for the repair. The work was done in a reasonable timeframe and I was very pleased with the results. He took great care of the firearm and made sure that he met my expectations. I will be taking my firearms to him in the future.
Great service and experience. I brought in an old gun that I had a lot of questions about and Brian took about 30min with me, explaining, teaching and even bore sited it for free. Mind you this was without an appointment or anything and I know he has work scheduled 60 days out. I have and would recommend Brian all day.
Brian and Anna are nothing short of tremendous individuals! Extremely thorough. Very conscience of safety and take time to explain EVERYTHING. They certified my wife for concealed carry permit and also the class on how to clean and maintain your weapon. Love them both.
Brian has been great help in fixing my shotguns. He is friendly, trustworthy and honest. You can tell that integrity is important to him. I definitely recommend his services to anyone!
WOW! Who EARNS 100% 5-star reviews out of 39 reviews? They must be "Darn Good"! I started going to Gun Doctor Nevada GDN about 4 years ago when we moved to Henderson. I chose the Gun Doctor then because of an online posting by a LVMPD officer who was grateful to the Gun Doctor for an "emergency" repair he needed while he was on his way to the range to qualify. As a retired LEO myself, that impressed me, and since then I have repeatedly exclusively returned to GDN many times. I wouldn't go anywhere else, unless Brian and Anna directed me to someone else. WHATEVER you need in terms of FIREARMS, Brian and Anna at Gun Doctor Nevada are your: *Professional Trainers for CCW permits; *Master Gunsmith for Safety Inspections, Cleanings, Repairs and Adjustments; *FFL to process firearms purchases and transfers. Brian and Anna are really great, genuinely friendly, quality people; they qualify as "Menches", which is a term used sparingly to describe exceptional 5-star people. Their shop security dog, "Ruger" is also pretty cool!
