New owner Eric seems very knowledgeable and is great to deal with. Prices are lowest I've seen around and their selection of handguns is very thorough. If you haven't been in since the old owners were here, I recommend swinging by and checking them out. He is definitely moving towards a more modern inventory than used to be here. Old owners were nice but the selection of items there weren't really up my alley. Prices on accessories and optics are cheaper than on the internet. Definitely check them out!

Not much inventory in store, you mostly purchase from their website. Delivery from factory takes 3-5 days, they're closed Sunday, Monday AND Tuesday so that can lead to long waits, even longer if you get a delay on your purchase. They also have an in-store policy where they hold it a 4th day after the delay has cleared "just to be safe"?? So unless I was discriminated on, everyone be prepared to deal with that.

I bought a gun online and tried to have it delivered here. I called the store and left a voicemail prior to the delivery to make sure there would be no issues. No return call. Called again, no return call. UPS attempted to deliver the gun three times. I called a third time and left a voicemail with no return call. The company I bought it from even attempted to contact the owner to no avail. I drove there and the shop was only open three hours a week for the month of February. You’d think during those three hours the owner could make it a priority to return my call since this was a big purchase and investment for me. As a result of the negligence, I had to pay to reroute my item to a different store and I have no idea where my item is now. Because of this extreme inconvenience and lack of regard for a potential customer, I will never buy a gun here and I will never recommend it to anyone else. And certainly do NOT have any of your guns sent here that you buy online. Save yourself the headache. UPDATE: My package is now officially lost and I had to file a claim. Thank you, again for the total disregard

Just made my first purchase from Guns&Gear the gentleman was very patient answering all my questions about the gun . I prefer to deal with a Mom&Pop store it was great. There prices were lower than a lot of gun shops I visited as well. I will be happy to give them good referrals.

Agree with a comment I saw that explained how awful the customer service was and I completely agree! A large amount of people who are browsing are first time buyers and newly introduced to the firearm world. Was in here a week ago and can understand the unwelcoming feeling. Also no masks by the staff members in there which in a small enclosed setting, isn’t the smartest idea. Just don’t go here if you are a first time buyer or are expecting great service and selection. Especially with huge ammo shortage and firearm inflation, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

This place is incredibly terrible. Extremely unfriendly and very uncomfortable environment. People of people color definitely get treated differently at this store. It was like I had just stepped back into the Jim Crow era. All I wanted was some information and I was completely disregarded and prevented from getting the information I needed. Also was told they didn’t sell a certain product when in fact they do but rather on their site which I was not referred to. If you like racist white people selling you guns, then this is the place for you, otherwise SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE.

My husband I went into the store today to inquire about purchasing our 1st guns. My husband explained he was looking for a revolver and the man behind the counter stated we were a little late shopping . We had to explain that we only just received our LTC and could not shop any sooner. From this point on the condescending attitude continued. There was even laughter from a customer behind us. Not a good way to treat people starting out new to the gun community.

Was polite to my face, as soon as the door closed, he just couldn't resist saying stuff about me to the other people in store. I was a frequent customer. But thanks to the unprofessional behaviour. I will not go back. Next time you talk about someone, make sure they are off your property first.

Outstanding place to shop. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, unlike other gun shops in the state <cough><Belchertown>. It's a pleasure to shop there, and I'd travel farther than necessary to give them my money.

The owner is a very gifted and reasonably priced gunsmith. He just seems to be one of those old time common sense practitioners of the trade that can figure ways to understand the particular nuances of a gun.
