We had our daughter sweet sixteen party at SHAGUN and it was just spectacular. Everyone had an amazing and unforgettable experience. Facility is very beautiful and spacious Main entry, cocktail reception area, outdoor arrangement and main ballroom hall which make every guest feel welcome and special. LISA and her staff members are very humble and extremely professional . They made sure each and every detail was taken care of and executed the party flawlessly. We got great feedback from our guests and everyone had amazing time. Guru palace is absolutely breathtaking. We were not only satisfied but overjoyed with the liveliness of the staff members . My daughter's quote says it all "GURU PALACE made the best night of my life even more memorable" . Thank you GP. Special thanks and shout out to Lisa and Ashok!
Attended the 50th birthday celebration of my neighbor and was a decent place for such parties. Food was limited varieties, but tasted good, nothing out standing. Paneer butter masala and Gobi Machuria were the best. Non veg felt like yesterday's remaining or reheated food and had some odd smell. Stay with veg, you dont find any issue. Service was fine and empty plates were cleared timely..
I knew that Guru Palace did big events like sweet sixteens and wedding parties, but I hadn't realized it was also a regular restaurant. I went there before going to a movie at Regal Cinema and it was GREAT. I'm super picky and was delighted that the food was so good. We had fish masala, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, samosas, and garlic naan. Everything was very good, but the fish masala was exceptional. Also, the service was excellent - our waiter was so friendly!
We went to a baby shower at their Shagun Banquet Hall few feet away from Guru Palace who operates this facility. Function started at 11 am and was over in three hours with snacks and tasty vegetarian meal and of course cake for mom to cut and given to invitees. Starts with one liner "its a pathetic and blunder" Have been to this place for private events like birthday or get together as well as proper lunch. Had a lunch buffet, the worst in that area. Taste wise its so avg, not so rich by spices that indian food known for. Consider the avg food and the taste that they serve in either events or lynch/dinner area. NOTE: Found once goat hair from the goat curry, pic added. Even shown to the waiter, who was so ignorant said it happenes once twice and even didnt throw the curry from the buffets area. Also very next day someone asked a question here in google review mentioning about hygiene. Food - 2/5 Ambiance - 2/5 Service - 1/5 Cost - 1/5 Think twice thrice before going here, i havent seen lots of customers everytime.
Wanted to share our experience for party at guru palace which was held on July 1. We had organized a birthday party for 140 people at shagun banquet hall Banquet hall is very good but food served was subpar. We had gone there before and tried the food which was good But food served at party was not same as had before. It was subpar and served cold . After spending lots of money it was not worth it. After the party my sister in law spoke to manager Lisa she said will talk to supervisor and call back but so far no one has called back. Very poor service. We were very disappointed and do not recommend for the event.
Really amazing food! This place is great if your looking for authentic Indian food while also getting hints of Chinese cuisine. They're buffet is amazing with a great variety of foods and at an amazing price. The staff is also ver friendly and helpful. This is also the banquet hall where I'm having my bridal shower, and they have great selections of halls for good prices! I have been to parties here before and the food does not disappoint. They recently opened up a beautiful banquet hall that is very big and spacious perfect for a wedding.

The food was delicious. I do not eat spicy food but I love Naan bread and mango lassi, so I still go. But this place was the best choice, they actually do have options that are not spicy, me and my kids were able to have a meal, not just the bread. Server was fantastic, here was the one that guided me as to what I could order that wouldn't be spicy. And it was delicious!!!
