Museum to Honor Military Veterans
The American Legion Post 232 of Snellville, Georgia, in conjunction with Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation established the Veterans War Memorial Museum at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse on the square in Lawrenceville, Georgia, as a tribute to the brave men and women who defended our land and liberties from The Revolutionary War to the present. Open to the public free of charge Monday-Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday 10am-2pm
To Remember is to Honor. This is a museum that teaches and shares with the community of Gwinnett County, Georgia, if not the world over, what it took over the last 250 years to fight and die for the freedoms that all receive today.
