I've been training martial arts for over 20 years. Every time I take a class at Roots Martial Art I always learn something new. John has a vast knowledge of many different styles. He also has a great gift of getting his students to understand the technique that he's teaching. He has a genuine, sincere and easy manner about him. He's always a great person to be around. John's mastery of the arts is apparent in every session. His ability to combine many disciplines into a single fighting art is paralleled only by his ability to teach.
