Mrs. Sherii is extremely friendly and kind. She is easy to coordinate with and is always accommodating with scheduling. You can tell she truly cares about the kids. The place is VERY clean. While it may sound backwards the number one reason I stopped going was because I wasn’t a fan of the amount of strong cleaners that the entire gym is cleaned in extremely frequently and what I felt like was over-the-top germ protocols. I started getting headaches when I was there but then my oldest aged out and so I took a year off and went back today for my 15 month old but I got a headache again. I understand the need to keep germs to ourselves but sometimes kids will put their hands in their mouth or accidentally drool etc and I don’t think we need to be over the top about it especially when a kid is obviously not sick. I am not a fan of masking my small kids ever and also don’t love the “3 cough” rule because my daughter, like many others gets asthmatic coughing flares when she is excited or using a lot of energy. But mainly, with my family history of cancer I am cautious especially with things such as bleach. I think if someone is very concerned with Covid although we know it doesn’t spread by fomites or germs in general this facility will make you feel safe. Mrs Sherii is always smiling, enthusiastic and her lessons are truly language enriching and great for facilitating motor development.
My 8mo old had so much fun!! Safe and fun environment for her to explore. Sheri is also incredible! She really cares about the kids and the families and wants them to have the best experience.
I have been taking my daughter to the Reno Gymboree since she could sit up and she's almost a year old now. It's absolutely fabulous and I have nothing but good things to say. The classes are varied and perfectly age-appropriate. The instructor who does all of the classes except the music class is amazing, I don't know where she gets her energy! She clearly loves what she does and it translates into the children having a wonderful time and learning as they go. I look forward to the preschool type activities when my daughter gets older as these seem great also. The plans and payment schedules are flexible so you can come as often or as little as you like, it works for everyone. I also appreciate their attention to hygiene and cleanliness, as any mother knows, groups of small children can breed all sorts of interesting infections! We love our local Gymboree and will continue to go for years to come.
We absolutely love Reno's Gymboree Play and Learn classes. Our son grew up with Gymboree, and now our daughter gets to be part of the fun. The owner and teacher is such an energetic and caring teacher filled with passion for working and playing with children and their families. The classes are well organized and are packed full of fun learning opportunities. The place is kept clean and is very inviting. I recommend that everyone with little kiddos at least come try out a free class.
My grandson went to gymboree before he started Five Hearts Preschool. Gymboree is an amazing place for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. We had so much fun there. As Five Hearts Preschool is only a mile away in South Reno, I'm sure we will go there with the next grandchild due in April! Gymboree follows the same high standards as Five Hearts Preschool with small class size and positive attention to our most precious children.
I've had 2 kids that have gone through this program ever since they were 6 months old. Upon reaching kindergarten - they are now reading at a 4th grade level. I feel they are more social and are better to team build as they easily make friends. Their cognition is up and curiosity is way ahead- and it all started with this play and learn center. What a difference just a one hour session a week has made for their development. If you want in introduce early learning to your infant and child- this is probably one of the best and most successful ways in my opinion.
It was love at first sight and play for me and my two year old. I found out about Gymboree Play and Music from a flyer I saw next to a register at a Gymboree clothing store. It was appealing to see that their classes were very structured, with classes mapped out and labeled accordingly based on age and area of interest. I already planned on enrolling my little one based on some yelp reviews I read but I was so busy with my newborn that it slipped my mind. One day I received a promotional email from Gymboree with a coupon- "flash 40," waiving the initiation fee for classes and decreasing the first month's fee. I was thrilled to see a deal like this and decided to take advantage of it before it ended. Here I am with my daughter Luna, two classes later in love with everything about these play and learn classes. 1. Great energetic and kind teacher-Miss Sherii She's very good at facilitating activities, engaging children, keeping equipment sanitized and handles challenges with kids very professionally 2. playful atmosphere 3. simulating activities 4. There are lots of other parents and children that are on the same page 5. clean environment 6. It's right next door to the Wet Hen Cafe, a yummy breakfast place with delicious pancakes and bacon. I'm happy that these classes exist because I know that they will contribute to the growth and wellness of my daughter. I can imagine that they will ease the transition for when she starts pre-k. I will keep on coming back for more and can't wait to progress on to the next levels.
My daughter has so much fun when we come here. The owner is so sweet so playful and attentive
