First time here. We will definitely go back. Nice folks working there. We had the gyro special. It was excellent. Very fresh onions which you never see!! It came with fries and they were hot and fresh. Another thing that seems hard to get , but here , your fries are fresh and hot. Try it out. Its hidden behind a bank off Rt 31 , so its hard to see. But well worth stopping in. I did feel the dining area could have been cleaner , but we arrived after 130pm so maybe after the lunch crowd ? Our sandwich was made with love..we appreciate that!! High 5 to the cook ! We want to go back and try the doughnuts !!

Way better than expected, definitely not the usual gyro place from every perspective. I have been there several times now and every time it has been terrific. Very nice owners that actually ask how was the food and care about the response. The grilled octopus is some of the best I have had, even compared to a high end restaurant. The gyro flight is really good, it has three smaller gyros, each one with a different type of meat. The avgolemono soup and the greek potatoes are also really good .

It makes me sad to leave this review, but I used to live in Carpentersville, and this place was a hidden gem with outstanding food. Seriously, their meze platter fed my whole family and was absolutely ridiculously good. Fast forward a couple of years, and now they only offer the standard gyro meat you can get anywhere else. Fresh cut fries have been replaced with frozen. I attempted to order several different chicken dishes that were on their menu like kebabs, but was told they no longer have fresh chicken because it spoils too fast. Mmmm My wife and I were always talking about how we missed this place, and now at least I no longer have to miss going here, because we sadly won't be returning.

This place is closed. Paper on the windows, door locked, giant "for lease" sign on the curb. I've tried to suggest the edit to Google to close this multiple times but it keeps getting rejected.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Isabel went above and beyond tonight!! Shortly before closing I reached the location to find out they had actually closed hours before. Isabel had been there later than planned and stayed just a bit longer to ensure my dad had the chicken kabobs he’s been craving!!! AMAZING FOOD AND AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Two years ago I ate here and the food was good. That was the last time I was actually able to eat here. Since then, I've visited three times on different days during operating hours and each time they were closed. This is disappointing since there aren't many places like this in the area.

Essentially nothing left of what was its former glory. The menu is down to 7 items. No Greek anything. Wanna pizza puff ? Or you’re about the broken soda fountain. No saganaki like I came in for, no Kabobs. This place is sadly done. I’m sorry as I used to eat here many times a week when I lived in the are.

what a joke. ordered 3 gyros, fries and a salad. got order comfirmation number, went in to pick it up, they said "we cancelled" our order which was not true at all, so we asked if we could still order the food and they told us they were out of everything that we ordered. kinda funny your called Gryadiko and you dont have gyro meat, let alone lettuce for salads, or let alone fries... I guess well take a straw and chew on it, but we didnt see any of those either. sadly i had to give one star but i gladly would say ZERO

Family loves this place This is a great addition to the area and at first I thought it would only be for me and not the family. After taking them here a couple of times, it is now a family favorite. My kid always asks if we can stop here no matter the time of day. I ordered to go recently after exclusively dining in. We got the Meze Platter for the family and it was a great deal! I have only one kid +me +spouse so there were leftovers for my lunch big bonus. My kid just wanted burgers until I introduced him to the various gyros and now he is a fan of those as well. Very friendly owner who will guide you through your order. Overall great service with a very attentive owner who obviously cares about what they serve. The food is made to order so there can be a slight wait if you are dining in and they are backed up with to go orders, but any delay is well worth it.

This place is SO GOOD! The food is very fresh and full of flavors never a bland moment. The restaurant gives you large portions, you absolutely get what you pay for. The staff is awesome at customer service. I highly recommend coming to this location if you are ever in the area, you will not be disappointed. In addition, every time I have gone in I didn't have to wait in line. The only thing I wish this restaurant offered was delivery that would be fantastic.
