The gyro was almost authentic. They didnt cut the lamb thin enough and didnt fry both sides in pan and they didnt use red onions. The salad was fake american salad. Greek salad consists of European/ greek cucumbers, red onion, grape tomatos, feta cheese, kalamata olives, oregano, peperchini, olive oil, and cut 1 lemon in half and freshly squeeze lemon juice over salad. I made real greek salad today afyer having the greek salad at Nikkos last night. My picture is how greek salad should look.
We were originally from Chicago suburbs. We like a good hole In the wall sorta place. Ya know- good food is what it is about. We found this place on a fluke. Pulled in... sorta got a retro / dive in a good way vibe. We were excited b4 we parked. We were not disappointed. Not a greasy spoon... charming. Niko's is not a 'this will do' sorta meal. This should be your date night, with the one you are into, casual fun meal. Retro Space Invaders- how fun. Dudes in the back were jamming to the rock, talking the bull with each other, making the meals on the spot fresh, and keeping the place clean. So... yeah, way to bring that Gyro in- fresh fries, thick carved meat, Greek salad, feta... dang Niko's. Glad to find you in Oshkosh!!! See u soon
The reviews were promising so decided to go last night. The place looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time with crumbs on tables and even people hair on the seats, everything looked grimy. The food was overpriced for what we got. The tzatziki sauce tasted mostly like mayo and not the right consistency at all. They forgot our fries and the salad was wet and gross and even the gyro was subpar. I love a good hole in the wall restaurant but this place just wasn't it. Sorry, not going back.
This is definitely one of the best Greek restaurants I have ever visited. The owner was very kind and they let me try garlic cheese curds. The Gyro pita was incredible, I don't eat meat on a regular basis. But the beef lamb pita was incredible, the vegetables were so fresh and the pita was huge. You have to try this place if you are in town or local to the Oshkosh area. Kid-friendliness: Guaranteed kind people here, expect a good conversation and incredible service. Took only about 5 minutes to get my food after ordering. Parking: I found parking right out front of the store, very convenient.
Niko's gyros were delicious. We always try and find that little special place, and this was it! Best food around. Friendly, clean, and great food.Food: 5/5

We were driving into Charleston late last night and this was the only thing open. I am so happy we found this little diner. I had the philly cheese steak, lamb gyro, fried okra, crab cakes and fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious!! The facility is clean and best of all open late til 2am. Kids loved the food too and they gave very generous portions of fries with everything
There food is always so Filling and always Fresh with very awsome fast service. This place is 1 of my favorite. I will be eating many more gyros and Cajun Fries.Food: 5/5
Oshkosh staple. Great gyros. Not much has changed since I went to school here fifteen years ago besides the time of day I visit. But in a local joint like this, that's a good thing.Food: 5/5
