The Marston family has been transporting students to school for a long time. It all started when an elder Marston put a fold up ramp and benches in a farm dump truck and would drive around South Pittsfield, giving neighbors a ride to school. Eventually, this led to the family purchasing the first school bus in the state of New Hampshire; driving all the way out to Ohio to buy it!
In 1981, Harvey A. Marston officially founded H.A. Marston and it has grown into the company you know today. Run by Harvey's widow, Frances and their two sons Sam and Tom and Sam's wife Lynne, H.A. Marston is still serving the greater Pittsfield community's transportation needs.
