Love H-E-B. I always find what I need at a great price. My mom wanted to stop and buy a planter, so I most definitely had to make a stop on our way home.
This is a beautiful store! It's an excellent place to shop. It has everything one can possibly need.
My main go-to place for everything. Shelves are always stocked. Ladies at the health and beauty isles are always organizing shelves and their work really shows. Cashiers are quick and registers are manned plentifully. Love the self check out. Employees here are friendly and always ready to help. Love the HEB app too!
Employees and staff no longer help bag the groceries or carry out. On multiple occasions I've had to bag and carry out my own groceries or ask for assistance and there are too many employees walking around with no assignment or direction. I drive in from Golinda and am a loyal, lifelong HEB customer. I worked at HEB as a teen and we were trained well in customer service. That is disappointingly no longer the case. Even after speaking to two Managers, Billy and another person I didn't get his name. I get frequent surveys that I take my time to participate and speak about the issues but they don't use that information for opportunities to teach/train better service skills. I've lived in Waco my entire life.
If you don't like crowds, Saturday is very busy. It has some great variety, but someone like me who has to check ingredients for certain allergens it doesn't have enough variety. I usually get plain frozen chopped potatoes so I can make them the way I want, but they had a very small variety, with Soy or Cottonseed oil... Same with much of there hand made foods. I give it a four for the variety of certainly things, like my favorite apples McIntosh, but I would give it a 2-3 for allergy options.
Store was very busy. That resulted in high noise levels and it wasn't kids. Parking was awful. But.. They had many choices of product that I was looking for. The rotisserie chicken... wonderful and fresh!!!. The checkout was fast n friendly. Lots of registers open.. choices . Best HEB I've been in in a while. Beats the local choices hands down n they are HEB
I just love my HEB, the curbside is such a blessing for me , grocery shopping is not my favorite thing to do and being able to place that order and just pick it up is awesome. Rarely are they ever out of anything I want , the service has always been been great , what else can I say , it's the best , I love my HEB.
I love H‑E‑B a lot and love shopping here. Although, we tried the flaming bird here for the first time earlier today and was fairly disgusted with the amount of dead flies and other bugs just sitting on the window seals in the dining area. It seemed like they have been there awhile.

Easy access from I-35. Large HEB with a lot of selection. Has a whole Baylor shop at the front near the produce. An extensive garden selection out front. The pharmacy is well staffed and they are always helpful. And if you find seasonal merchandise on clearance it will be a deal—like the giant dog bed I picked up for $8!
