Hard to wrap my head around paying prices they are charging! Free inventory for them they jack the prices up so high you could go buy new for what they charge. I have always thought these places were in place for lower income people to purchase things at an affordable price. Do not buy their appliances go to used appliance store and get one just as cheap if not cheaper with warranty. They rude too!!
The folks at Habitat / Horry County are the best. We always donate our slightly used furniture instead of trying to sell it . It helps them to continue their mission and Sue was awesome in helping me to schedule a pick up that would fit my schedule… Thanks Habitat for all you do …
I think some of the items are priced to high. If you need them to deliver, it runs around 125$. They won't assemble anything they deliver. So if you decide to get something I would suggest getting multiple items so that the delivery fee is worth that much. I almost bought 2 bedframes when I went there but the wood was the wrong color. So I would give them a better rating if the prices and inventory was better.
Found quite a few things I'd buy if I had a truck. 24x30 bling mirror, antique box, small stand for $60 total don't let the perspective in the pix throw you off, the stand is 11 x 11 x 28. Some furniture seems overpriced but there are good deals in an un-airconditioned back room/sauna.THE place to go for towel bars & bathroom pieces. Good selection of lighting fixtures.
This review is based on donations only. I called to see if they accepted 8x10 rugs and they said if it wasn’t cut, clean and with no stains they do. As soon as I arrived they said it was cut and they didn’t accept it. This was a 250.00 rug I bought from Home Depot…. I explained it was not cut and you clearly could see it was seamed on all sides. I drove out of my way because I wanted to donate to a good cause. I’m glad Goodwill was very happy with it.
I bought 4 night stands and 12 boxes of flooring. When I went to the back to pu. The flooring and 1 of the night stands brand new I was signing for the mandatory turned around as the guys were trying to close my tail gate, they were trying to bend one of the boxes of flooring and slam my tail gate on a brand new 22 2500 long bed chevy. I lost it. Not only did they just literally throw the boxes in the bed, the night stand, they put in in upside down and scratched it along with scratching my truck. I was like are you serious!!!! Would you want someone to load stuff you just bought like that, n they said no, I was like exactly!!! Unload all of it and give me my $500.00 back.... if yall would of loaded it neatly and professionally, it would of fit fine, it's a long bed!!!!! Not professional at all, will NEVER go back there.
Staff friendly and helpful. Easy drop off of donated items. The store has a wide selection of used goods that are still in good shape and prices were good. A great stop fpr a new home owner on a budget or just a great place to browse and see what you wiĺl find. Will definitely return.
Used to be a good place to go to find inexpensive furniture and what not's, but they have raised there prices so much that it isn't worth it anymore.
Oh my gosh, as a newly moved resident this place is a treasure trove of deals for furniture. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The prices will knock your socks off!
I see people posting about the prices being high but if you want to see high prices go to the ReStore in Summerville or Goose Creek. The prices here were very good in my opinion. Walked away with 10 gallons of primer and five light fixtures for 75 bucks.
