Description
The Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh ReStore accepts donations of reusable house building and home improvement materials from individuals and organizations. Donated goods are then sold to the public at deep discount. All proceeds from the sale of donations help place families in affordable shelter in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
Mission
The ReStore provides:
1. An environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream
2. Funding for Habitat’s community improvement work
3. Access to quality home building and improvement items at a reasonable price
Products
Our ReStore inventory is constantly changing but we typically have:
refrigerators, gas & electric ranges, washers/dryers, dining table & chair sets, cabinetry, and other select home improvement and building materials.
"Shop at the ReStore for discounted new and used furniture, appliances, and other home goods and building materials! You can also donate items and we'll pick them up for free. Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh's Homeownership and Home Repair Programs here in Allegheny County."
